Hope your 2023 will be fruitful. First thing that I had not known or probably have forgotten from not growing up here in the Philippines is the *shaking of jars with money*. That has not entered my mind but very novel idea that while looks from an outsiders perspective to be nothing but superstition I think does pose a use for the individual doing to strive for the coming new year ahead of them.

So shake away, either coins or booty, which ever brings in the profit will only start the question of what you did with it when its in your hand/wallet.
