Food Series #129: Street Food Culture.

Street food in Vietnamese has traditionally been seen as a part of popular culture in Vietnam, anyone who visits Vietnam must absolutely indulge in some of Vietnam's delicacies. Vietnamese street food that is not just delicious, rich and pocket-friendly but is also healthy. . Ha Noi and Sai Gon are tops in Vietnam as the best city to visit if you’re a food lover. I am living in Hanoi and the food here is delicious, quality and cheap!!!^^^

Ẩm thực đường phố Việt Nam từ trước đến nay được coi là một phần văn hóa đại chúng ở Việt Nam, bất cứ ai đến thăm Việt Nam đều phải mê mẩn một số món ngon của Việt Nam. Món ăn đường phố Việt Nam không chỉ ngon, phong phú, hợp túi tiền mà còn tốt cho sức khỏe. Hà Nội và Sài Gòn đứng đầu Việt Nam là thành phố tốt nhất để ghé thăm nếu bạn là người yêu ẩm thực. Tôi đang sống ở Hà Nội và đồ ăn ở đây rất ngon, chất lượng và rẻ hiihi.

The typical cost of a single meal is between 1-2 usd/ cake. Today I bought 3 Vietnamese pancakes, 6 skewers of grilled honey, 5 grilled chicken wings with honey, 1 grilled squid and soft drink for 2 people. Total: 14 dollars. It was too cheap and delicious!!!

Chi phí thông thường của một bữa ăn là từ 1-2 usd / bánh. Hôm nay mình mua 3 cái bánh xèo, 6 xiên nướng mật ong, 5 cánh gà nướng mật ong, 1 mực nướng và nước ngọt cho 2 người. Tổng: 14 usd. Nó quá rẻ và ngon nhé !!!

The pancake Vietnamese is pan-fried at a low temperature keep all the ingredients safely tucked inside the pancake. The cake is semicircular with a crisp yellow crust. Inside pancakes with meat, carrots, bean sprouts, shrimp, silk rolls, onions, ..When eating, you need to cut pancakes into 3-4 parts. You need to combine pancakes with rice paper and lettuce and mint , pickled cucumber carrots (salad) while the herbs help eliminate the greasy taste.. then you dip the roll in the sauce. Though some people might prefer to use chopsticks to eat this pancake, but i like the way to enjoy it with my hands. Dip sauce is a fish sauce that creates with fish sauce, lemon, garlic, chili, sugar, vinegara balance between sour, sweet, and salty. All the flavors will blend together on the tip of your tongue hehe

Bánh xèo Việt Nam được áp chảo ở nhiệt độ thấp giúp tất cả các nguyên liệu được bọc bên trong bánh một cách an toàn. Bánh có hình bán nguyệt với lớp vỏ vàng giòn. Nhân bánh xèo bên trong có thịt, cà rốt, giá đỗ, tôm, giò lụa, hành tây, .. Khi ăn, bạn cần cắt bánh xèo thành 3-4 phần. Bạn cần kết hợp bánh xèo với giấy đa nem cuốn rau rxà lách và bạc hà, salad dưa leo cà rốt , rau thơm giúp khử bớt vị béo ngậy .. sau đó bạn chấm bánh xèovào nước chấm. Mặc dù một số người có thể thích dùng đũa để ăn món bánh xèo này, nhưng cá nhân mình thích cách thưởng thức nó bằng tay của mình. Nước chấm là loại nước mắm tạo nên từ nước mắm, chanh, tỏi, ớt, đường, giấm cân bằng giữa chua, ngọt, mặn, mọi hương vị sẽ hòa quyện vào nhau trên đầu lưỡi của bạn hehe

Dried squid grilled over low charcoal fire and then shredded to pieces by hand. This dish is a side dish in beer parties, grilled dried squid as a snacks easy to nibble at over conversation. Served with chili sauce.

Mực khô nướng trên lửa than nhỏ rồi dùng tay xé nhỏ từng miếng. Món này là món ăn kèm trong các bữa tiệc bia,cũng là món ăn vặt dễ nhâm nhi khi trò chuyện. Ăn kèm với tương ớt nhé.

Honey grilled skewers are a common food in Vietnam. The meat skewers has a sweet honey and greasy taste, I want to eat more and more. It's basically honey, garlic, pepper for the marinade, making it ultra juicy.

Thịt xiên nướng mật ong là món ăn phổ biến ở Việt Nam. Thịt xiên có vị ngọt của mật ong và béo ngậy, mình đã ăn lại càng muốn ăn thêm nữa. Về cơ bản, nó là mật ong, tỏi, hạt tiêu được ướp trước làm cho nó cực kỳ ngon.
