The entertainment industry has been, is still and will always be here. The impact that the entertainment industry has made in the life if many individual watchers can't be overemphasized. The entertainment industry has in so many ways helped people to better understand and commune with reality, it has also helped a lot of its consumers stay happy and are able to manage stress. 

The entertainment industry apart from the satisfaction it gives its consumers has also helped entertainers achieve their dreams and helped them make a living aside making a name for themselves.
The entertainment industry has diverse subsectors, ranging from filming, singing, comedy and a whole lots more. Each subsector, in its unique set up, has a way of giving satisfaction to its consumers. Entertainment is most often associated with the film, whenever entertainment is mentioned, people tend to think of film or movie, but entertainment entails a lot more. Movie stars give infinite satisfaction for its curious public while movies provide a reliable escape from the realities of life.

**ABOUT SLATE**

Hollywood, as a filming industry, is the leading industry in entertainment followed by China and then Korea. Hollywood, has under control, all the aspects of movie making, the content creation, the script writing, actors recruitment and most importantly the dispatch of its product to consumers. Recently, due to technological advancement, there has been a kind of shift of power from Hollywood to streaming service providers like Netflix,HULU, and AMAZON PRIME.

Before the emergence of these streaming services, consumers of Hollywood has to wait until the movie release date, to be able to gain access to Hollywood content. But today, movie consumers can watch and download online as many movies as they want and they are all new ones. As a result, people don't wait anymore for the movie release date, they just go online and stream. Because of this imbalance and shift of power from Hollywood to stream providers, SLATE was invented to curb and not just return the entertainment industry platform to its former position, but also ensure that all parties involved in the industry are duly rewarded and their effort appreciated.

**VISION**
Slate entertainment group is the parent company of BINGE media corporation and SLATIX solution. Each of the two subsidiaries is charged with specific objectives relating to the development of a new entertainment ecosystem. One that will impact numerous sectors as film, streaming media, electronic ticketing, cinemas, concerts, plays, sports event and many more.

**MISSION**
Slate entertainment has a mission to bring radical change to the entertainment industry using a mixture of technology and integrity.
