Here's a tutorial on how to paint your favorite animals or even the pet you have.

In this tutorial, we will just be using one hue of watercolor, pencil for outlines and water.  Any type of paper can be used but I recommend a watercolo paper to avoid crampling or losing the paper's flatness.

# Preparation

 # Process

1. After the preparation of reference and materials, make an outline of the image you want to paint.
2. Define the shape of the model, including eyes, nose, paws, mouth. These are the prominent features of the image you want to make.
3. With light shade of watercolor, paint the prominent areas with it and let it dry.

4. Define the darker areas by adding a shade on top of the light shaded area.

5. To enable to define the image of the subject you, we will cover the background with a darker shade.

6. Don't paint the part of the dog/model. Make sure to define the fur and outline to make it stand out.

7. Let the watercolor dry.

8. Add details on the painting like furs and shadows according to your reference to make it more look-a-like.

9. Use different shades of black to add more depth to the painting.
