When you live around different people, you learn what it takes to understand them and the environment. Some people are just so naturally clean and neat that having any form of stain is always inconvenient for them. 

Meanwhile, to some people, the situation around them is irrelevant; all they care about is a free life. They can eat and dump refuse right behind them. Their immediate environment has nothing to do with their existence, and we can't blame them. Maybe that's just the way they got used to. 

Where the issue lies is when they get to accommodate someone who is entirely different from the way they run their stuff. There will always be issues among them. This is a battle between someone who appreciates tidiness and someone who doesn’t. 

Growing up, we were trained to maintain proper and healthy hygiene and our environment tends to be a part of it. A clean surroundings, a clean home, a tidy room, using neat utensils. All of these are not until you are in luxury before one can maintain a proper healthy environment.

If you are not the tidy type even in luxury you will still have a hard time maintaining a healthy environment. Our neighbors got into a disagreement with us in their first few days of packing into their new house. They start piling up their refuse and then dumping it outside their gates. This is something they don't care about. But my parents took it up against them. 

If they should continue that way then it won't be only their home dumping refuse there but many others from the community will turn the place into a dump site to the extent that it will become so irritating to everyone. Since then they actually stopped and tried to practice a healthier way of incineration. 

A healthy environment should have people who are healthy living in them, that's one key factor to a healthy environment. I have gone to visit some families where from their main entrance down to their doorstep there is only one thin pathway you can pass. All the other parts of the surrounding area are busy and dirty.

Another key factor to a proper and healthy environment is having a good drainage system. Good drainage will pave the way for the proper flow of water whether from heavy downpours or community use. But it's funny that nowadays even in my area, the drainage system has been serving the purpose of a dumpsite. 

Once it starts to rain you will see a lot of people come out with their refuse and pour it into the gutters. With the expectation that the water will flow away. The question is where is it flowing to?  
At some point when they get piled up, they become a blockage and then they become nuisances to the environment.
