The lecture is based on the significantly acclaimed and inspirational concept presented by Pausch at Carnegie Mellon University on September 18, 2007.Randy Pausch was a computer science professor at the same place of Carnegie Mellon University. The lecture surrounds a clear message to the people who live the life beneath some despair thought; the professor starts his motivational speech to tell his disease of pancreatic cancer that would kill him in a matter of months. After the revelation, he talks about the hopefulness which makes him more courage to live the life with happiness with his family. He put all of his thoughts in a picture that emphasizes the real one concept of life, he explains if he should go through in hopelessness and depression, and actually a person who just once woke up in morning, and someone tells him he will going to die, believe me, it’s a very tough situation. and if he reflects and ignores the thinks about his disease that he is going to dying in a few months, regardless this issue in which professor talks about the accomplishment that how to achieve the dreams and goals of life.
In his lecture the Pausch also share his own personal life matters, beginning to his early childhood to adultness, a journey of young man to become an old person. But after that dreadful revelation about his disease he constructs his life with more happiness due to understanding a compound concept of life that he never changes the circumstances at any cost, so why he lives the life with that fear, he should be live with his family, friends, and students, with bravery and happiness. all of this lecture makes an influence on every age of person, the message in the video is contain a worldwide message due to its positivity which has a great influence on the listener to make their mind understandable about life, the living standard with the dejection, how to achieve goals with strong commitment, and how to live the life with love to the people, who lived around us.
May God give Professor Pausch’s family the courage and strength to bear the loss. It is a really tragic event with that positive kind of person. My heartfelt condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace.
