Funky potion #4 Con uvas de garnacha blanca de Cierzo Brewing Co. (Esp-Eng))

Tenía muchas ganas de probar las nuevas cervezas ácidas de fermentación espontánea de Cierzo. He empezado por la número 4, pero pronto probaré las otras tres.
En esta ocasión se trata de una cerveza que incluye en su elaboración uvas de Garnacha blanca. Una uva típica de Aragón con mucha personalidad.
La fermentación de esta cerveza se ha realizado en tres tiempos, lo cual indica la complejidad de su elaboración. Una fermentación primaria en primer lugar con levadura Philly Sour, posteriormente una segunda fermentación, esta vez espontánea y finalmente una tercera en barrica durante un año. Costoso y laborioso proceso para un resultado excelente.

Lo primero que sorprende es el aroma floral de la cerveza. Posteriormente ese aroma se confirma en boca y se une al delicioso sabor de la uva blanca, que combina perfectamente con el ácido característico del estilo. Un final seco y sin ser excesivamente ácida.
Gran cerveza. Ideal para compartir.

I was really looking forward to trying Cierzo's new spontaneously fermented sour beers. I started with number 4, but I will soon try the other three.
This time it is a beer that includes white Grenache grapes in its production. A typical Aragon grape with a lot of personality.
The fermentation of this beer has been carried out in three stages, which indicates the complexity of its preparation. A primary fermentation first with Philly Sour yeast, then a second fermentation, this time spontaneous and finally a third in barrel for a year. Expensive and laborious process for an excellent result.
