Macallan Double Cask 12 years (Esp-Eng)

No suelo beber licores ni bebidas de alta graduación... Pero de vez en cuando hay que hacer excepciones. Y si se trata de uno de los mejores whisky con más motivo.
Sin ser un gran conocedor de esta bebida, El Macallan 12 años me ha sorprendido gratamente.

Es un whisky de tipo Scotch muy equilibrado, ya que al ser double cask obtiene los sabores secos y ahumados típicos del whisky escocés, pero mezclados con los más dulces de vainilla y manzana extraídos de las barricas de roble americano en las que descansa, que han sido aderezadas con Jerez Oloroso. Aspecto este que le aporta mucha personalidad.

Muy fácil de beber y apto para todos los públicos.

Aunque su precio es elevado, este whisky es una verdadera joya, para disfrutar tranquilamente y probar un poco de vez en cuando.

He doesn't usually drink spirits or high-grade drinks... But from time to time exceptions have to be made. And if it is one of the best whiskeys with more reason.
Without being a great connoisseur of this drink, El Macallan 12 years has pleasantly surprised me.

It is a very balanced Scotch-type whisky, since being a double cask it obtains the typical dry and smoky flavors of Scotch whiskey, but mixed with the sweetest vanilla and apple extracted from the American oak barrels in which it rests, which have been seasoned with Oloroso Jerez. This aspect gives it a lot of personality.

Very easy to drink and suitable for all audiences.

Although its price is high, this whiskey is a true gem, to be enjoyed quietly and to try a little from time to time.
