Como me gusta esta cervecera danesa que lejos de las modas de las IPA modernas, más afrutadas y suaves, continúa realizando cervezas como ésta que os muestro, más cerca de los orígenes y comienzos del estilo. Una IPA de verdad, amarga y contundente sin contemplaciones ni sabores tropicales que enmascaren el sabor de la cerveza.

Homenaje a Todd Haug, maestro cervecero de Surly Brewing y músico de una banda de metal.

La cerveza es un estacazo de amargor de principio a fin. Así lo muestran sus 98 IBU. Medida internacional con la que se mide el amargor de las cervezas, gracias al contenido de los alfa ácidos del lúpulo y el tiempo de hervido de los mismos. El pino y la resina son los matices más característicos de esta cerveza y un sutil toque cítrico que suaviza un poco.
Gran cerveza, en la línea de todas las que hace esta gran cervecera danesa.

How I like this Danish brewery that, far from the trends of modern, fruitier and softer IPAs, continues to make beers like this one that I show you, closer to the origins and beginnings of the style. A true, bitter and forceful IPA without contemplations or tropical flavors that mask the flavor of the beer.

Tribute to Todd Haug, Brewmaster of Surly Brewing and musician in a metal band.

The beer is a shot of bitterness from start to finish. This is how its 98 IBUs show it. International measure with which the bitterness of beers is measured, thanks to the content of alpha acids in hops and their boiling time. Pine and resin are the most characteristic nuances of this beer and a subtle hint of citrus that softens it a bit.
Great beer, along the lines of all that this great Danish brewery makes.
