Uno de los sentidos que más aprendemos a desarrollar es la vista y el oído. Este último, en diferentes ocasiones, es suficiente. Una excelente profesora, que es ginecóloga, nos contaba que a lo largo de su experiencia profesional, diferentes pacientes han acudido a su consulta con mucha ansiedad y después de la exploración ginecológica, no tenían ninguna alteración, pero sin embargo la consulta se prolongaba porque las pacientes simplemente necesitaban ser escuchadas, tenían un problema personal, que les generaba ansiedad. Posteriormente, cuando la doctora daba su opinión y consejo, todos esos síntomas que eran el motivo de la consulta desaparecían.

Además, nos contó algo que cambió mi perspectiva de ver la medicina, porque para ella la medicina no es una carrera universitaria, sino **una forma de vida,** y por eso el título de este post, porque son muchos años de sacrificios, de perder reuniones familiares, horas de sueño, el hospital se convierte en nuestra casa, que no importa el problema por el que estemos pasando, siempre estaremos ahí con una gran sonrisa, para dar lo mejor de nosotros a cada paciente, pero a pesar de esto muchas veces somos infravalorados, pero, nos queda la satisfacción de que siempre daremos todo para dar un bienestar y calidad de vida a cada paciente. 💊🙏
