Piece Of Advice To Get Into Coding
<div class="text-justify"

Hey guys. I hope you're having a great day. Today. I want to talk about some realities. I don't know how many of you have studied computer science or are studying computer science or are generally into coding or developing softwares, websites for hobbies or for work. As a student of this discipline myself, I want to share my journey of realization of what I initially thought and would be and what it currently is and what it might be. From both an AI perspective as the talk of the town is AI will take over the world and it will take over all the jobs or Software engineers. And also from a coding perspective as to the thought process of an engineer when trying to develop a software or a website or any computerized system for that matter.

So let's get the obvious things out of the way first. And the short answer to the question of whether AI will take over all our jobs is no. It won't take all of our jobs. Yes, it might make the low-level Junior engineers job a bit obsolete, but you must realize that AI, although it is slated to reach that potential, isn't actually there yet. I myself have used various AI solutions and no single one of them is flawless. Every single one of them makes some sort of mistake. Well I know human engineers also make those mistakes but the thing is please he might be able to learn from that mistake and not repeat it again, or not make silly mistakes. Which AI still does. So AI might take some of the jobs and that is the hard truth but even that still needs some time. These models need more refinement, more processing power and more training to reach that potential.

Now the coding. When I first started out I thought maybe the best solution is to learn different languages and be proficient in them and things will happen. Boy I was wrong. I was so wrong that for 2 years I had nothing to show in terms of meaningful progress in the practical world. Well, I still don't have much substantial things to show yet, but at least I know what to do now. The actual answer to this isn't just picking up a language and being proficient in it. It is to realize what you want to do. What kind of problem do you want to solve? What kind of website or what software do you want to make? Once you have decided the answers to those questions, the rest is far more doable. Because once you know what you want to make then you can go about and break it down into different sub problems. Then you can go up ahead and search the internet as to how to solve each of those sub problems. Once you have them, you can then build using them. This might not make you proficient in one single language, but it will give you meaningful experience in all those different languages and frameworks which you can later use in other projects as well. This kills two birds with one stone. You have actual projects that you can show as proof of work. And also you have the necessary experience to get Hands-On with certain types of problems. Whereas your language proficiency won't get you anywhere. You'll just be knowing syntax and what comes after what. And trust me that won't get you anywhere.

So if there is anyone out there reading this trying to understand what the world is becoming and how you should go about your journey. I sincerely recommend that you do not panic about the AI wave. There will always be jobs and opportunities if you know what you're doing and if you know what you're good at. And to be good at those things, you need to do actual projects and get Hands-On with different problem solving instead of learning 10 different languages.
