<div class="text-justify" Good evening everyone. Today's topic is robot help. And it would essentially mean robots taking over the everyday chores we have in our day-to-day lives. While that sounds pleasant, in the beginning, there are a number of things that can be addressed and speculated if we actually dig into that rabbit hole. And I guess I have the perfect example to talk about. Being a gamer, I have played many games over the past years. Although I must first confess that I am not very much into competitive titles. I mostly stick to single player titles. --- [Source](https://unsplash.com/photos/photo-of-girl-laying-left-hand-on-white-digital-robot-0E_vhMVqL9g) --- So anyway what I was talking about is the game that looked into the possibility of robots being of a lot of help for mankind in a not so distant future. But it also explores a scenario of robots becoming sentient and taking over their own wishes and liberty to do stuff. So call me back to my personal opinion. I am all for using robotic machinery to help ease the day-to-day life of humans. They can save a lot of time which can be spent doing small chores theoretically. But if they are delegated out to robots then we have a lot of free time which can be stacked up consecutively and then you have a lot of time to do a lot of things that you actually want to do. But there can be cons to this method. One such con in today's world, realistically speaking, can be companies that own those robots have elevated access to your personal belongings and personal data. As those robots will be doing your personal chores, it will require personal information to do them. So if the parent company decides to do something harmful with it then they can do it much more easily. But if we move back to a more fictional reality, I.e the reality I'm talking about from the game which I've played, then these robots will become sentient and we will realize that they are only being used as helping hands and they're not treated at the same level as humans. Well, of course they are not humans. So they wouldn't even require the same treatment. But as these sentient fuels go, they don't understand that they are different and they would ask for them anyway so that can cause some discomfort. And if these things go unchecked maybe robots will take over the world. That is a perfect segue to reality when we talk about AI systems. Actually these are getting obnoxiously smaller each day and that day might not be far where it might actually show sentient behavior. Robots as helping hands and being used to do chores here and there is a very old school of thought. It has been fantasized by humans for many years now, but the way things are headed. Obviously these robots will need some sort of AI to power their so-called brain in order to use judgmental qualities to do those jobs. And where there is AI there is a possibility of the AI getting out of hand. Because the fundamental attribute of an artificial intelligence is that it learns itself. So things can go out of hand pretty quickly just as easily it can stay in hand. </div>
