>Since doing more backyard fire I drifted into the idea of making my own bushcraft knife and I've been watching a lot of videos on how to do so. One easy way is to cut a piece of steel off a circular saw blade and grind it to shape but among the video I was watching, some of them were about forging your own knife which requires more involvement and tools. So I was wondering if I could setup a small blacksmithing workshop in my garage and found out that with few tools it would be indeed possible.
What tools do I need to setup a beginner blacksmith workshop?

>I keep having this image stuck in my mind from Dr. Caroline Leaf's (author of "Switch On Your Brain") analogy of what your brain looks like if you are positive and what it looks like if you are negative with negative thinking patterns.
Positive is like a strong healthy green tree with many branches and new growth.
Negative - the tree is toxic, doesn't have much life in it or leaves on it's branches.
The branches of the tree symbolize the neuro pathways that are created with positive pattern thinking while a negative pattern shows a lack of those neuro pathways being developed.
I like the idea of having my brain full of neuro pathways with the idea that I am growing to my greatest potential. So I'll be keeping on the positive side, being mindful if negativity creeps up.

As the homestead grows and evolves, we're taking the path of self-reliance to another level! Diving deeper into the rabbit hole of re-wilding, everyday is a learning experience and every experience repeated becomes closer to embodiment.
I haven't written in a while, mostly because of how busy we've been. Luckily the great pause has given us time to build and rearrange our lives as we build this VILLAGE from the ground up.

2020 is a term used to describe normal visual acuity, allowing a person to have clarity or sharpness of vision.
Unfortunately, the year 2020 has provided the masses with the murkiest, blurriest vision of the world we’ve seen in the modern world.
Ideology has taken precedence over truth. Evidence be damned, as feelings matter more than facts.
Ideology allows for contradictory ideas to flourish and fester into a big, steaming pile of illogical excrement.

>When the journey is as important or valuable as the destination, then we can perhaps say that we have already arrived at the goal, even while still attempting to reach the goal. In spiritual terms it implies that the journey is the destination. On the path of Bhakti Yoga the understanding is that we engage in loving devotional service and the goal or sign of success on the path is to receive more service. So the journey is the goal and vice versa. Therefore I am here now and already always was and will be. There is only here and only now and that is all. Anything else is a hankering or a lamentation about a non-existent reality.

>I’ve been meaning to begin a detox process these days but it has been terribly hard with the abundance of delicious food that has been available. With hummus and vegan mayonnaise in the fridge it gets hard to resist the temptation of eating some. Pizza for my mother’s birthday didn’t help either. That day I drank a lot of beer as well and my body has begin feeling like a burden again.
It might seem a bit exaggerated and a health-nut obsession, but I have experienced how well it feels to have a clean, detoxified body, and there’s no way I can ever forget what that feels like. So these last two weeks I’ve been intaking much more calories than I’m spending and it’s taking its toll on me.

>I have never once experience such a beautiful display of non-violent civil disobedience in my entire life while attending and recording most of Tuesday's night's protest in Portland, Oregon. 3 days ago, on 23rd July, 2020, a radical piece of news with global relevance was reported in that riveting, incredibly popular, global publication, thepigsite.com. So that millions would never see it.
Reuters reports that the guidelines were issued by China’s National Health Commission after a series of COVID-19 outbreaks were linked to meat processing plants throughout the EU and Americas. China has banned imports from various regions in a bid to curb the spread of the virus. Imported meats products must have certificates for passing nucleic acid tests for the coronavirus, on top of other documents, certificates and records of inspections, before being processed in the Chinese plants, the NHC said in a statement.

It is actually quite easy to know this but always remember that Truth is hidden in plain sight, and that one must be aware of the latter to find it in the first place. The closer to the Truth you get the fewer profits are there to pocket. That is how it works. Nobody can benefit from the Truth because the latter is the Great Equalizer.

>These last few months have been heavy, we have been awash with so many restrictions and fearing mongering news reports. In most countries, it has now become mandatory to wear masks when out in public and people are being heavily fined if they do not. What is funny though, is that even with the mandatory mask wearing, they are still reporting new cases, how can that be if everyone is wearing masks? Surely that wouldn't happen if the masks actually worked?
I have been doing my best to sow little seeds of truth and recently I asked a friend to post a link to the interview with Rocco Galati, Canada's leading Human Rights Attorney who is taking on the Canadian government over how they have dealt with this plandemic, on facebook, as I am not on there.

>It seems as if I've been pulled into a swirling vortex of spiritual teachings lately. I recently started studying with a friend of mine who teaches energy healing. I've wanted to for years, but she always taught in person and 3 hours from where I lived. Now with the lockdowns she has, like many people, moved her work online. As such, now that I'm hours away by plane it is actually easier to study with her.
Doing that work seems to have been a major catalyst for even more information to flow to me that is moving me forward in my spiritual development. That includes in how I am holding the energy of the difficult times in which we live.

>I received an email from my daughter's gymnastics club. It was discussing all the quarantine restrictions they have to comply with for fear of fines and how they plan to do things in order to make it work. On top of this, everything is being automated and they plan to be cashless by term 4.
So the gist is, you send your child in on their own, unless you absolutely have to see someone at member services. They will line up 1.5 metres apart and check in with a scan code like little robots (wonder if they have a number, too).

>Sometimes we need to take stillness like we take medicine. It can taste awful, but it's good for us.
It's a moon, feminine energy that we can be very unfamiliar with, in a world where strong action is celebrated in any form, and we constantly seek the known, be with the known and knowable. That's hard in these times, where COVID forces us to be with the unknowable, the uncertain, the constantly shifting.
We look at statistics, at numbers and laws - all knowable. The actions that are taken in an attempt to flatten the curve are knowable. But still, in this is so much uncertainty and so much unknown, and that can make us anxious, feeling as if we are struggling to maintain any control in our lives.
