Yesterday, I woke up from a "power nap" to witness a significant pump in the crypto market. The moment I opened the charts and saw that impressive surge in XRP's value, I immediately knew it had something to do with their ongoing lawsuit with the SEC. Man, the SEC's attempt to regulate crypto is nothing short of a joke.

They can't even successfully ban Ripple, yet they have the audacity to talk about banning Bitcoin. What a bunch of incompetent fools. So, it seems like XRP is being recognized as not being a security. Here's why, as explained by Zerohedge in their latest article on the topic titled [Ripple Wins Case Against SEC As Judge Rules On XRP Being A Security](https://www.zerohedge.com/crypto/ripple-wins-case-against-sec-judge-rules-xrp-not-security):

>"Defendants’ motion for summary judgment is GRANTED as to the Programmatic Sales, the Other Distributions, and Larsen’s and Garlinghouse’s sales, and DENIED as to the Institutional Sales."

>Institutional buyers who directly purchased XRP from Ripple had a reasonable expectation that their investment would contribute to improving the XRP ecosystem and increase the value of XRP.

>However, programmatic buyers (meaning the broader public) accounted for less than 1% of global XRP trading volume, and the sales were “blind bid/ask transactions” where buyers could not have known if their payments went to Ripple or any other seller of XRP.

Now that it's clear what caused the pump, it was about time for cautious exchange platforms like Coinbase to relist XRP. Much wow, much amazement... Bla bla bla, let's move on.

So, what's next?

So far, the pump has primarily benefited the big players like BTC, ETH, and XRP, with price appreciations ranging from 7% for ETH to over 60% for XRP. While XRP might still have room to grow, my lucky guess is that small-cap cryptocurrencies will start seeing an inflow of capital once the Ripple bubble bursts.

Don't get me wrong, the game isn't over yet. As mentioned in the linked post from the introduction, I anticipate two years of upward momentum for the crypto market. This summer is just a taste of what's to come once the halving occurs. Although the US has yet to approve a Bitcoin spot ETF, Europe is taking the lead in this regard.

BlackRock, the world's largest investment fund, is betting on Bitcoin, and wherever the money goes, decisions are made easily. So, expect "the good times to roll" for about two years from now, until the bubble pops and we enter another bear market.

Remember to take profits, but don't do it too soon. Enjoy the ride—it's going to be a wild one, but definitely worth the hustle.
