America used to be a wonderland for many decades, primarily because it was the only country where almost anyone could make it big. Literally, starting from scratch and becoming a multi-millionaire in just a couple of years was possible. I'm not sure how much this is still possible today, but I know my country has become an extractive economy. Extractive economies favor the few, and the small percentage that makes it really big in this country does so at the expense of the masses. It's painful to see this country drained of every last bit of its resources and serving the interests of the West. We used to be a nation that grew strong, but now we're growing weak. I'm not pointing at typical types of weakness... To me, it's clear that our country's leaders are no longer in control of anything, but the majority still believe the opposite. We have election days, and people will go out and vote, believing that their vote matters. These people have probably never heard of Mark Twain's famous saying: "If voting would matter, they would not let us vote."  The problem in this country is that votes are bought heavily, and for pennies. Political candidates for mayor and other positions pay around $50 per vote, and a vote-buying mafia is thriving lately... As a blockchain advocate and a proponent of decentralized blockchain technology, I've chosen my own path to freedom by dedicating time, effort, and conviction to this technology and spreading the word. However, the masses remain ignorant, as they always have... A friend introduced me to another friend yesterday, and this new acquaintance instantly associated crypto with a casino. The man doesn't even know how a blockchain works, yet he calls crypto a casino. The current meme hype and other popular trends in crypto might resemble casino gambling, but amidst all the noise, there's a fire burning that will drive transformation forward. NVIDIA's performance on Friday showed us the way. Technology is here to stay, and it will play a significant role in the future of world governance and how we handle wealth and currency. As I've mentioned in recent posts, the dollar will lose much of its strength in the coming years, but that doesn't mean the world will adopt Russian and Chinese currencies. To me, this means that fiat currencies are no longer reliable, and we need to find alternatives as soon as possible. The same goes for governance systems. If we had a voting system based on decentralized blockchain technology, everything would be more transparent and beneficial for the masses, but they don't want that...
