Being in crypto, especially as a renowned analyst and social media influencer and not at least bothering to search for censorship free social media alternatives to twitter is pure laziness. Proof of that are [PlanB](https://twitter.com/100trillionUSD?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1369504576861319170%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcryptopotato.com%2Ftwitter-purge-major-cryptocurrency-accounts-suspended%2F) and [Willy Woo](https://twitter.com/woonomic?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1369504576861319170%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcryptopotato.com%2Ftwitter-purge-major-cryptocurrency-accounts-suspended%2F) on twitter. These two are some of the best on crypto twitter with hundreds of thousands of followers.

Nevertheless due to some *bot shit* their accounts got suspended a few hours ago, just to see their accounts live back again after hours of uncertainty and desperation. [LomahCrypto](https://twitter.com/LomahCrypto/status/1369538601277665280), with 100,000 followers on twitter, is turning his account to private in the hope of not being targeted by bots.

Remember the crypto purge of youtube? That happened in 2019 and there were quite a few affected by that saga. Back then a similar situation with the one of right now with twitter, happened on youtube, and as long as I remember correctly the ones affected by the purge were running left and right searching for decentralized alternatives.

There have been quite a few Hive users, myself included, who have recommended them to join our blockchain, but I doubt anyone has done that, because soon after they saw their accounts back it was all clear skies again. Somehow the decentralized nature and censorship free qualities that they were desperately searching for faded away.

Same thing happening right now with our twitter influencers. Once *twitter gave them back the permission to be active* all they knew was to *thank the master* for his generosity and get back to business. I'd call them pussies for that, but for the sake of the respect I have for their work I'll simply just label them as lazy. 

I have even commented on Plan B's initial tweet when he saw his account suspended and recommended him Hive and Leofinance, but no answer. They aren't hungry enough I'd say. Once they'll simply get desperate for non censorship social media platforms and they realize that they have to live this crypto world they preach about on a daily basis... it will be inevitable.

I don't get their attitude though. If you're such an ardent crypto believer and you get the fundamentals behind this revolution, you see its trajectory and have the perspective of a current completely flawed society from almost any point of view you'd look at it, why not going all in crypto. I'm trying that by all means and not even a crypto influencer. 

Accepting the reality of the mainstream social medias, knowing that there might be alternatives to those, and not doing anything about that is like talking and writing crypto, dedicating hours a day for this space, but still having nothing against fiat and using it happily. At least try and do something. Project blank is just around the corner and it needs to disrupt twitter.

Same as crypto is gradually eating traditional finance's lunch, so will project blank do with the mainstream social medias. It will require some really aggressive shilling from us, but it will be a name in the space, I'm 100% sure. Just look at CUBfinance how well is doing just 24 hours after launch. Community is one projects main asset imo and Leofinance is one of the best online.

WSB have seen their account suspended for a couple of hours as well, and still using twitter. How the hell you call yourself disruptive when you don't do disruptive things?... I guess some of us are learning the hard way, no matter how *old and salted* they are in this space.
