This is a really good post, Achim.
You are right that as one of us prospers, we all prosper.

I think a lot of us have been doen a similar road, I know I have. For my first three years I used Hive as a one way posting street. I posted and then walked away, not really wanting to engage. The intent was to have it immutable there. And it was. But, that was all it was. Rewards were very very small if at all.

Just before the fork I started commenting and such, I really don't recall why. But that's when things started to click. Really thesecretis not really a secret...just behave on Hive the way you treat people normally...kind and helpful and authentically.

Jealousy just leads to the down way of what we are doing in HIVE. For me, I just keep my mind straight and achieve a win-win solution as possible for all who help me until now 🤔

For this one is an absolute as they are growing up means there's a benefit for me too and I need to do more again to achieve a win-win solution. 🔥

I like to interact with different people and learn new things and perspectives. It is a slow process but starts to gain momentum over time.

All of us start off small and I also had a similar experience as I grew my account. I almost gave up because blogging wasn't really going anywhere until I started following along with taskmaster4450. His advice of leaving like 500 comments and then coming back to him again if you didn't get any results really works. So it's best to just engage and put in the work.

Nice post. In my opinion that of interactions is the best way, also because in my opinion it is really nice for Hive to create relationships and make new friends, even if virtual. A hug!

I had a similar journey to you (as many others here), but I exactly remember the moment when it clicked in my head... "Stop chasing whales... Connect with others like you, and grow together... and one day... be whales..." That was a game-changer for me as I stopped with the content creation in a niche that I was "forcing" to get those whale upvotes, and began to create content that I like... That attracted other people who think like me, which leads to new friends who respect each other... 

And everything is a lot more fun when you do it with others!!!!

Great article! Thanks! Relationships are the one thing that make using a platform exiting and fun for me, not just for the monetary aspect.
This post is very helpful as I only just joined today and have no idea how this all works on here, it looks quite complicated to me still. But seeing that the Christmas holidays just started I will hopefully get round to figure it a bit more out.

Yeah I agree with you! Though I feel that some of my friends ended up delegating a significant amount of their Hive Power away for many reasons (mostly to earn other Layer 2 tokens) this meant that their friends don't get a good vote in the end. 

The learning curve is different for everyone. Mine wasn't very steep, and it still isn't. But the key is interaction and engagement with others. And once you realize that, it's easier. 😎 !BEER

Grea post, having been spending the last couple of months exploring Hive I've noticed the same, the more you engage in a positive manner with the community the more bonds you will make. In turn, generating more profit, but I think the experience far outweighs that! 

Well laid out there Achim, we all win by growing together, and that makes our relations even more important, thanks for sharing and stay awesome.
