# A New Sense Organ
Statistics can be an additional sense organ. They are like beeing able to see, where you only could hear before.

In the HIVE-System, we have lots of data. They are stored in the so called JSON format (you see it when you sign for something) in the big blockchain ([Example](https://he.dtools.dev/b/7859537)).

And then? This is really dry and not human readable.
Some tools use this data to give you access, some tokens or enables you to watch posts.
But data is mighty. Facebook, Google and co. use them to earn billions of dollars.

# My First HIVE Stats

I have started to observe some token trade data a few months ago.
First I wanted to know, who brings money into the [chary](https://chary.org) system and who takes it out. So we can see, who are the main donators and who are the recipients. Does this system work as expected? 
We found some results that showed, that some people abused the system. (See [here](https://www.chary.org/hive-149312/@achimmertens/monthly-chary-news--handling-with-abusers--new-service--stats-for-april-)). 
So, the data paid back the effort.

Then I enhanced my statistics for other tokens. # New Stats
Now it is a great pleasure for me to announce, that there are two more statistics available, namely **$SIM** (the dCity-Token) and **$LEO**. I am going to post them in [C/HIVE-Gaming](https://peakd.com/c/hive-140217/created) and [C/LEO-Finance](https://peakd.com/c/hive-167922/created) every friday, beginning tomorrow 2021/06/18.
I have started collecting the data this week, so they are brand new.

# Regular Statistic Posts

Doing this statistics is some manual work. I do it regularely (as there is no obstacle) on every friday noon. But I cannot observe all token, as I need about 15 minutes per post. So I can only create up to 5 posts. I will do it for my favorites (BEER and CHARY) and for the others, if they are well upvoted. So you decide with your upvotes, if I shall go on. The $LIST stats haven't got enough upvotes in the past, so I am going to cancel this service.
