**About WPAP - style.**

Appeared in 60-th years of XX century style pop-art continues to be popular. Furthermore, it is develops and dramatic confirmation of this is appearing of such direction as WPAP. WPAP is abbreviation of Wedha's Pop Art Portrait, i.e. these are portraits, executed in the style of pop art. However, in contrast to the "traditional" pop-art, these images have specific distinction. All portraits are created in the vector editor and illustrator to create a recognizable image, using lines and intricate geometric shapes.

The founder of WPAP style is illustrator Vadha Abdul Rashid from Indonesia. In the early 90-th years he worked as an illustrator, creating the celebrity portraits for various periodicals. Then he mastered the computer and completely immersed in the world of digital art. In the 2000-th, he was fascinated by the Cubism and this led him to the idea to try create a series of portraits of famous people, using bright vector tapping dies. The artist works make an explosion in the Internet and the direction WPAP became incredibly popular first in Indonesia, and then all over the world. There were communities in which users can share experiences and showed their work. In some communities, the number of participants exceeded one thousand.

Why WPAP is so attractive? The main purpose of Wedha's Pop Art Portrait is a representation popular people (movie stars, musicians, politicians, etc.) in an unusual style. Thus the main condition is the recognition of the image. In addition, these portraits are very bright, which, combined with the unusual flow cause wow effect.
