Sorry @perceval but I couldn't bring myself to log back onto Phantasy Star Online 2 again, thanks for the advice (on youtube) though. :p

Decided to go with a game I've played a very little bit some time ago and feels a lot more like an MMORPG that I'm used to: FFXIV. After mentioning the game on Discord I went on to record it and missed a mention by @lunaticpandora recommending me to pick any class except the archer and guess which one I went for! Yup. Let's try this anyway and see if we get rekt before reaching a higher level, my main goal now is not to die a single time since Luna mentioned it's a lot harder for beginners with this class.

Not sure how much people like Lore so decided to read most of it up through the cutscenes since there was no voiceover, but I have a feeling I'm going to get very tired doing so for each quest and my patience will run thin. If there are any lore fans out there feel free to just pause the video during certain quests if you don't wanna miss anything.

PS. Why are all these western MMORPG's in british english? Oh well.

Hard to tell so far, free version only covered you up to level 20 I believe so might need to buy it to find out how good it gets later. Worth a try though, movement is a bit less quick to interact than wow or the game I was trying yesterday but wondering if it's due to ping and that it interacts similar for both me and other players for a fair combat without lag/delay.

Global Cooldown in FFXIV is 2.5 secs which might feel like lag to players of other games, it isn't but it gets better as you get more skills off the global, also I believe the free version goes up to lvl 60 now.

There were like 7 in EU but I guess they have less restrictions than in WoW, you just gotta choose EU when running the install if you wanna play there but the ping difference is gonna make you hate that decision.

I mentioned it because from all the classes in the game, most people tend to pick the archer because it is the most familiar. It happened to me as well and I almost quit! Good thing I switched to Dragoon(Lancer) as soon as I got to level 10 or else I would have probably not made it to level 70 where I am right now!
