As some of you may have noticed, @ocd is back from a long break! With this post I wanted to go through some of the currenct activities of ocd and also help with any questions you might have which you can ask in the comment section afterwards! 

#### What OCD Curators do now

The main difference from their curation from before to now is that they are specifically looking for authors that have not been curated in the past. Before this wasn't as strict but now that we have the @ocdb solution to authors who have already proven to be writing quality content for Steem and can increase their rewards with that option, we will not be curating authors again. 

Currently they are curating tags free-for-all, meaning they curate the tags of their own preference. Over time, though, we are going to have specific curators that are looking into certain tags that are not being touched as much by already existing curation groups and different dapps. Bear in mind though that those using dapps that get added to the whitelist should check if the beneficiaries of the dapp make it worth buying the @ocdb votes for themselves. 

#### Other plans for the future

We have teamed up with @welcoming curator @theaustrianguy who has been part of @ocd for a long time and will be looking into creating discounted accounts for community members that they vouch for and curating their introduction posts and adding them to a second compilation post of @ocd with a short description so that readers can easy follow them if they happen to see some newcomers they are interested in. 

This will be a great use for the new RC account creation and a great way to increase our community on Steem and help them out with getting introduced to everything on the blockchain.

Other plans we have cooking are to curate posts that have purchased @ocdb votes on the daily as well. The highest quality posts that have purchased a vote will receive an additional vote from @ocd to increase ROI and incentivize the authors in the whitelist to create even better quality over time! :) 

#### Rewards

As it takes a long time for our curators to find newcomers that haven't had the luck of getting enough visibility and rewards, the curators receive votes from us through the @ocd posts which they share 100% among themselves. If changes were to occur to curation/posting rewards we will adjust accordingly. 

Likewise the authors will also receive a vote and visibility through the @ocd compilation posts. So make sure to follow that account so you don't miss on new and quality authors! :) 

We also encourage manual curators to front-run the bigger accounts @acidyo and @anomadsoul in curation, knowing that you are voting on already curated authors from the team and that there are bigger votes coming in later increasing your potential curation rewards. Same thing goes for the @ocd posts, as the post rewards are all shared among the curators make sure to give that account a vote as well as a thank you for their hard work! 

Authors who have been curated by @ocd will be added to the @ocdb whitelist and will be able to buy a vote that returns 150% of the value to your post minus curation cut (25%). The delegation on @ocdb has been coming in surprisingly fast and we are now close to 500k SP after only 1 week of the announcement.
