They had an algo that voted you based on the total stake of your followers and him having been trending often had quite a bit of it so he basically forced them to cast it manually as to not miss it that day.

You can't really expect much else from someone who used the minnowsupport account to vote himself and his alt account with for 0.15$, seems he's still desperately trying to come back in any way he thinks will work for him. Unfortunately as you say these people keep doubling down and rather than working on the things people have downvoted or stopped voting them to begin with, they try to cast blame and shit on the platform as a whole just because we're still small and defeated they've given up on it and now wish it wouldn't exist.

Spoiler: it's hard to kill a blockchain, there's so many still active and fully operational even with maybe a few miners and transactions per day, let alone this place and what it does for people on the daily.
