In our country, Reddit is inaccessible due to government blocking. However, we can enjoy the service of the site by changing the IP or setting on the proxy. But, there is one interesting thing from the site that although free to speak, we can not take advantage of such a platform rashly. The presence of many platforms in Steemit as mentioned in the text above that our voices are greatly appreciated. however, to the best of my knowledge, the presence of such platforms as a form of support for creative people whose sounds have not earned them a decent appreciation.

Perhaps, with the increasing number of Steem Power I have, I will continue to strive to help the new Steemians, who later join the Steemit platform, by voting on their original articles. Although not great, but by often giving a vote to those who just joined can help them to continue the spirit of work and share useful articles here.

@acidyo am a newbie here and things are really hard for me  i will lyk to as u to pls visit my blog and a look at it of recent i just start to upload my art works bt i dont think pple ar viewing it its kind of tiring and a friend said i was using the wrong tag i dont even kwn what he ment by dat so i need your help on how to get familiar with things here i will be glad for ur compliance

for the moment, i will keep my SP as my reputation is low. but as time passes and i also gloom in the steemit towards high reputation then I intend to help the newbies as in which stage i am presently in.

I'm thinking about group to teach and help steemians to improve their experience here, since grammar until their profile. And in the future the could help others.

If I had a good voting power I would be Upvoting good posts.

I think that first we would need to handle the situation where some people are looking for loopholes in the system, maybe make them more recognizable or whatever. Aside from that and the spamming I think Steemit doing fantastic.

I can't wait for SMT's and to see what spurs from it. 

They will all be based off of steem correct kind of like bitshares is where they have a bunch of subtokens under them you buy with bitshares ?

As fro projects I kind of want to see something peer to peer but contract based so the loan has to be repaid that is going to be a tricky one though.

Half UBI that's just a whitelist of non-spammers/half charity voting with charitybot, memes voting with decentmemes. Simple enough. Give some positive incentives for people not to spam the network instead of the cat and mouse game being played with them now.

I expect there to be a mirror of almost every type of project that's already doable on the blockchain to pop up on the steem blockchain with smt's, just because lots of people aren't that original but can code decently well. And then I expect there to be a few killer apps with great minds behind them that will really dominate the game.

As for me personally I think the ones with less emphasis on obtaining the smt's simply by $ are a going to be a bit more interesting, how the smart tokens are distributed and how they take their different approaches to distributing them is going to be nice to see. I might integrate/create a UBI smt into a UBI project, there's already mannacoin but I think I can easily do better than that coin's 10% dev cut just by making it... not 10%?

On the subject of bid-bots it would be hard to get anyone to delegate SP to it if it paid investors less than market rates... so it would probably have to return at least as much to them as other bots do. But the friction of operating the bot doesn't really have to be as high as some/most of them are raking in via their fee/cut they take, so I could probably just make a... "charity bot" for voting by only allowing whitelisted bidders, paying investors the same as other bots, taking less of a cut, and using that to power up the UBI and charity voting that I'll be doing.

Sure. From people like you @acidyo, quite a lot of us have benefitted, via upvotes, interactions (with your followers) and a lot more. 

And I believe with time, we too (newbies) would get to the level you are now. 

I think it would be best to reciprocate such gesture to upcoming and incoming newbies. 

Where leaders encourage younger ones. I believe with that, we would have a robust platform.

Honestly, I'm not an anarcho-capitalist idealist about Blockchain.  I don't think it's going to usher in an anarchist utopia of consensus voluntaryism rainbows.  And I'm kinda glad for that.

The reason I'm here is much more mundane: I like the idea of micro-payments for content creation that can maybe actually support people without advertising.  I follow a number of active YouTube creators and the degree to which their fates are controlled by the slightest whim of a tweak in an advertising algorithm somewhere is truly frightening.  Most of them would be completely wiped out without Patreon, which acts as a subsidy for YouTube's terribleness.

And YouTube is one of the best around in terms of actually giving content creators a financial cut.  It's kinda sad. :-)

I want to be able to support the content creators I support in a simple, low-cost, low-friction way that cuts advertisers out of the equation entirely.

And hey, if I can make some money myself along the way with random blogs where I rant about things, I'll take it!

Hello, Acidyo. I kind of agree with your observation about bid bots. It's something a bit of a lamentable need for beginners who don't have any earnings and don't know how to push themselves out there. Sometimes they can't even afford bid bots and sometimes may see them as something negative. This leads to their great content being unseen. Many eventually leave Steemit thinking that this is a platform where good content is not rewarded.

My vision for the far future when my SP is worth more than $0.014 per vote is to help promote great content. I've seen that many people like to reward their commenters or the participants of their contests. I wish to do a job similar to @qurator, @dropahead and others by seeking great content, or delegating this task to others, to promote not content by those who belong to a certain community, or content by those who pay, but a variety of top quality works that would best represent this diverse community of creators.

I may sound like a hopeless dreamer, but I think this can be achieved and we can improve the trending section where the opposite can be seen sometimes: sometimes you look at the face of Steemit and see posts about drama, effortless posts and things that nobody really wants to see. These are pushed to the front by people with a lot of voting power. This is their freedom. I don't condemn them or call them evil. It's their right, and I wish that in the future, it will be my right to promote the best side of the blockchain.

I will most likely keep my SP under my own control and manually curate content with it. I've set a goal for myself to reach at least 1000 SP over the next year or so. 

I'm mainly looking to upvote content that I feel isn't getting enough attention at the moment. Also, I'll upvote my own content instead of spending SBD on bots, I'll keep powering up till I reach 1000 SP. 

Part of the fun on Steemit is going through lots of posts and finding real gems in there.

Steemit is a great platform for us who live in undeveloped country.. without any investment we earn and learn here,before I didn’t know about any cryptocurrency but after discovering steemit I learn many things..even i did my first traveling by money I earn on steemit,I’m glad that I discover steemit...after I would like to help people to my community because they need help..

My SP is not much, so right now I´ll keep it so I´m able to do anything in steemit and I can get some small curation rewards!

But cases like you, with a good amount of SP, delegating some of it would probably be a good point too.

I think soon my Steem Power will be very expensive, and I will be able to delegate it to those who want to use SMT tokens. And then I will have a passive income :)

I am looking of using it for two things :
1. To support a local community
2. Build something on top of the blockchain that will use SMTs. This will be something that I have to build from scratch and have posted before - steem4kids - with the aim of educating my kids (teenagers) to be doers - work for something they would like to have.

Hey @acidyo! What I would do with my SP is help newbies in the vegan community. I want to be able to support groups that do something good for this planet, and not eating animal products is a very good thing =). I just created a discord channel called "Vegans of Steemit" in the hope to unite as many vegans as possible. There are already a whole bunch of members (newbies and also established bloggers), and I hope that we can help each other grow, maybe with a voting trail. Obviously more SP would help.

As for other SMT's, I'd expect to be able to buy services and goods with them. If I'm not mistaken that will be possible with appics
