I've asked one of our amazing front-end devs for a nice indication when posts are forfeiting part of the rewards towards the funding of our game. Mostly just so people may be aware why some of my daily posts may be utter shitposts where I'm forfeiting part if not all of the rewards towards a project. As I know not many are aware of beneficiaries or miss checking on them and it's a bit tiring having to constantly mention it. 

For others thinking I'm just doing this "to help my own project", partly yes, but other partly, it's kind of like "everyone's" project in a way given how it was launched fairly with no additional allocations to the team or founders. 

I could also just make a shitpost, accept rewards and buy vials but that one would benefit me in terms of having an extra in-game asset that'll generate me zing. This on the other hand just sends rewards to @zing.fund which at quick glance you can tell most of what happens with those rewards is go out to curators and if there's any additional ones it goes towards funding the project. Aside from a little social media activity as well primarily X right now. 

This change won't just be for zing however but also for sps.dao, dunno how in need they are of rewards but this'll give players/investors there a place to send part or most of their rewards if they just wanna get a quick shitpost out without taking advantage of the autovoters, etc. 

Anyway, excited to see that change live, part of the rewards on this post will go towards the dev making this happen. 

This isn't something that's going to affect many people as the minimum requirement to forfeit rewards is going to be 50% so I highly doubt many are going to want to part with so much of their author rewards - I frankly barely see any doing it on a daily basis. But it gives people an additional option rather than just burning the rewards or sending to @hive.fund (DHF) as it may seem like it barely does anything considering the amounts they have there and @hbd.funder on top of it all assists with keeping hbd stable and send any profits it may incur back to the DHF. 

Anyway, that's it for today's post, will make a new post when the update is out from beta and onto live! 

Zing's still here, still somewhat struggling with funding and taking on more work. We're grateful to our devs who have abstained from getting rewarded now but are okay with getting rewards for their work and contributions later when Hive or our funding is doing a bit better. Any support would be very welcomed but there's always things to do while waiting for the big things to finally get in place. I hope I have some more official news to share in the official @holozing account soon, stay tuned!

I hope you are all well @ everyone.I would like to begin this request with great respect.
First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Aftab Irshad and my Hive username is @aftabirshad.I am a web and software developer and I have written many posts about my field in Hive Blog.
I am going to express my request or, as you understand, my wish in this application of mine.And I hope that I will be able to fulfill this wish of mine as far as I can tell.
I want to do something for Hive and I want to give Hive what I can.
If I talk about myself, I am a developer and believe me I am good in my field but it is a little difficult for me to write posts about photography and other things because I have never done such a thing and maybe I am not even good at it. It is difficult for me to write such a post. But it's not like I lack content that I can't post on Hive, I can post on Hive, depending on my category, but it takes me a few days more to create the post because I also have to code it, and if I guess, I can only create one post in about two or a week. But I am making many projects on the High Blog channel which I will publish soon and I have published many of them. And my goal in making these projects is to improve myself and this is also training me and I am also correcting my mistakes.
"What do I want to do?"
I want to check for plagiarism and repost content and create a report about them.I'm not saying that there is a lot of plagiarism or reposting content on Hive. What I'm saying is that I want to contribute to making it even better.And I've done this kind of thing in the past and I think I can do it better. I want to check the posts coming up, check for plagiarism, and inform them by making reports. Apart from that, I also want to check multiple accounts so that no one can use multiple accounts. 
My purpose in making this request is not to ask for votes from you. The votes will show my content and the value of my content, and anyway, asking for votes is not right.
And I know how to check plagiarism, how to detect duplicate accounts or multiple accounts. I consider myself an expert in this, but there may be someone more senior than me, but I want to make a contribution from my side and improve it further.
I would like to request all the admins or responsible users in Hive to allow me to do this. I assure you that I will not do anything wrong or violate any rules. I will bring better results and present the report with complete evidence.

I mean, any of them are welcome to do it, it just has to be authors willing to donate themselves and not be coerced with votes. It has to be done altruistically and not have curators change their behavior cause it is benefiting their project.

I'm curious why you made it so folks have to share 50% I could see far more folks getting on board with a lower amount. Also curious how this is different from the beneficiary option that's already built into PeakD

What would be cool to see (no idea if it's possible). To have a option for your Author Rewards for a post to be not sent with HP/HBD but have it send you the same $$ amount in $ZING.. πŸ˜‰ That would be cool!

I think it's simple enough right?

- You add some bot-account as the %100 Beneficiary to a post.
- That bot then gets the total HP and HBD as the Author Rewards
- That bot swaps the HP for HBD and then swaps all the HBD to ZING
- The bot then sends you the ZING

It would incentivize people to post about Holozing because then you are earning rewards in-game.

People would do it because they could then stake said ZING for even more ZING. It would help the project out because the bot swapping for ZING would increase the price and that helps all of us right?

Just an idea for those smarter than me to think about!

I've had this idea in the beginning, but we didn't want people to think we're only upvoting people so it'd put more buy pressure on zing. 

I guess another step that could improve this could be if we on our side took care of the fee associated with sending the hive/hbd onto layer 2 so people could get 100% of the zing from their rewards - thus it costing us a little bit but not the authors who'd generally would have to swap for hive engine swap.hive and eat a fee doing so.

That said, we do have some social achievements cooking as well which we will allocate a small portion of the zing rewards pool towards, let's see if it still feels like a necessary addition back then!

Looking forward to it and I know these things take time. Especially when you are navigating new territory with blockchain gaming and community. Slow and steady wins the race and I just try to collect zing rewards every couple days. 

For the sake of the short attention spans, it would pay to get things to the beta stage where you will see a huge jump in participation and support from the general public. 

Otherwise, good things take time and I am stacking while waiting and excited.
