### Hi steem peeps,

Today, I would like to share with you the idea of a call center agent life. Now a day call center is bigger and bigger every year. Do you know that Philippines recognized as one of the top call center country? Yes, it is. That's why many of the career shiftier, fresh college graduate and working students choose to work in a call center.

For all those peeps out there want to join the BPO industry, here are the facts that I know.

### Shifting Schedules

Always be competitive and flexible to cope with different schedule that will assign to you. Probably, during the interview they will say can you work during weekends and holiday. As usual answer  you will say YES to impress them. It should not end by saying yes, you need to prove it during the training and probationary.

### Balancing Work and Life

You work when everyone else is sleeping. You spend weekends and holidays at work. This one is very important part of being a call center agent. You also need to have a social life with your family. We should take care of our health due to working for 8 -11 hours.

### You earn more pay than other jobs

Aside from your base salary they will give you the following allowances like rice, travel, clothing and etc. Plus, performance incentives for completing the whole month without absence and late. Also good score card has a equivalent cashing! cashing!

### You receive full work benefits

They pay your contribution for SSS, PAG-IBIG, and PhilHealth. You will get life insurance at the same time health card. Sick leave and vacation leave that you can use in case of emergency or if you would like to have fun with your family. 

### You enjoy high-end facilities

This one I really love because if you work for a big company you will experience air condition pantry, vending machines, recreation area, unlimited supply of coffee and sleeping rooms. The clinic with an on duty doctor and nurse.

Being a call center agent is one of the most challenging yet rewarding journey I ever have experience. It may appear to other people that it’s just another job, but the fact is that we always give in the extra effort to show up to work and perform at high levels every single day.  It could be hard in the beginning when you are still adapting to your new job. Don't worry as time goes by you will enjoy it. Eventually, you will get used to the work and the environment. Plus, once pay day comes, you will no doubt enjoy the fruits of your labor and finally understand what the other call center agents have talked about in the past. Call center agents go through difficulties on a daily basis, but this is perhaps what makes them unique despite all of these factors, they will never give anything short of their best.
