Mi abuela materna se llama Carmen Castillo, recientemente cumplido 99 años, desde que la conozco ha sido una mujer fuerte y trabajadora, digna de admirarse y un ejemplo a seguir, primero estudio enfermería y luego Fisioterapia, así al conocer que los 8 de septiembre se celebra el día de la Fisioterapia tenía que hablar de ello, la razón, mi abuela de verdad mostro, a lo largo de los años que ama la fisioterapia, para ella no era un simple trabajo, era una pasión, un privilegio y un honor ser fisioterapeuta, amaba lo que hacía.

La Fisioterapia, como su nombre lo indica se dedica a terapias dirigidas a devolver a su estado normal a las personas que han sufrido algún tipo de lesión donde se incluya músculo, huesos y/o tendones, la razón es que muchas veces estas lesiones afectan el normal desenvolvimiento y/o vuelta a la normalidad de algunas personas, por ejemplo mi tía hace unos meses se cayo y en medio de la aparatosa caída su mano fue la que recibió la peor parte, se fracturo de tal manera que tuvo que ser intervenida y además realizar sesiones de fisioterapia y aun así hay movimientos que no logra realizar como antes, pero obviamente ha mejorado muchísimo.

Si nunca has asistido a una sesión de fisioterapia, te comentó que estas personas se dedican a estudiar como debe moverse el cuerpo y antes de someterse a una serie de sesiones, te evalúan y allí deciden que tipo de acciones son las mejores para ayudarte, en mi caso he ido a sesiones de Fisioterapia por mi problema de Cervical y eso me ayudo muchísimo a mejorar, así ellos determinar mediante pruebas y el motivo por el cual les estas visitando, fractura, contracturas, parálisis, entre otros, cual es el mejor procedimiento o mejor dicho las acciones que realmente te ayudaran a mejorar.

Recuerdo un caso emblemático de la hija de unos amigos queridos que fue diagnosticada con cáncer siendo una niña muy pequeña, era un tumor congénito en su cabeza, fue operada y dejo de caminar, sus padres en contra de los pronósticos que indicaban que la niña no volvería a caminar, depositaron su fe en Dios y en mi abuela para que fuera su instrumento, ella la rehabilito, la traían fielmente a casa cada tarde, para que ella le hiciera las terapias y así Ginette Esther volvió a caminar.

Así, como a Ginnette mi abuela trato muchos niños que habían nacido con problemas de varios de sus miembros inferiores y les ayudo a llevar estos tiernos hueso su posición, entre muchos otros casos en los que ayudo, no solo a recuperar movilidad, también la confianza,

Ahora bien, es importante que tengan una idea de las lesiones que pueden afectar la capacidad para desempeñarse se encuentran:
> • Trastornos cerebrales, como un accidente cerebrovascular, esclerosis múltiple o parálisis cerebral
• Dolor prolongado (crónico), incluyendo dolor de espalda o de cuello

Finalmente, ya para despedirme, estoy segura que la Fisioterapia es vital para la recuperación de muchas afecciones tanto de personas como de animales ya que desde hace unos años se esta empleado la fisioterapia con mucho éxito en los animales. Me despido deseando mucho leer sus comentarios.
