This means that when it's time to put the tree away I have to wash the lower branches to remove the urine smell.

Ahora bien, cada año me toca enfrentar a algunos de mis queridos hijos peludos, pues lo atacan de diversas maneras y hoy les quiero contar lo que les he visto hacer este año. En el caso de Señor Gato que como mencione ya tiene 10 años y no intenta tanto treparlo aunque el año pasado lo hizo por su parte interna en compañía de Rusa con quien suele jugar en las mañanas dando carreras por toda la casa como si fueran vehículos o motocicletas de alta cilindrada, este gato naranja y blanco se ha dedicado junto a Pocholo, el siamés, a marcar el árbol lanzando rociadas de orina a las ramas bajas, así que desde hace un tiempo no puedo colocarle el pie dorado al árbol, pues se convierte en el arenero de los niños. Esto implica que a la hora de guardar el árbol debo lavar las ramas bajas para eliminar el olor de orina.

Por otro lado, Señor Gato, en compañía de Greta y Rusa o por separado hacen de las suyas, a los tres les encanta esconderse debajo del árbol y aprovechando los muebles nuevos para que les sirva guarida y asechar para cazar sus hermanos, cuando pasen distraídos por el lugar, a veces las dos enanas Greta y Rusa mordisquean las ramas bajas o sacan las flores y ni hablar de sí las bambalinas están bajas, pues a sus ojos parecen pelotas relucientes ideales para jugar y ahora más que los muebles les facilitan el acercarse a estas bolitas, pues, Rusa por ejemplo, en estos días salto desde el espaldar de una de las butacas usándola como escalera o trampolín y tiro al suelo una de las más altas, me percate de ello, pues al quitársela no veía que faltara ninguna en otro grupo delas bambalinas bajas, hasta que vi que era de uno de los grupos de arriba.
