For several weeks now it has been raining a lot here in my city, I live in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, but it has also been horribly hot in some hours of the day, so all this mixture of humidity, heat and cold in different hours has given the perfect environment for the few mushrooms you could see in this tropical climate so I am happy because I found this week a new mushroom to share its images with you in this #fungifriday.

Who is writing to you is quite ignorant about mushrooms, I assume so, I love them, but I don't know much about them, so I have no idea what kind of mushroom is the one I am sharing with you in this post, to me it looks like a stone covered with shortbread or coated like a cake, they are the ones I used to find the most when I was a child.

Quien les escribe es bastante ignorante en materia de hongos, lo asumo, me encantan, pero desconozco mucho sobre ellos, así que no tengo ni idea de qué clase de hongo es el que les estoy compartiendo en esta publicación, para mí parece una piedra cubierta de mantecado o revestida como una torta, son los que más solía encontrar cuando era una niña.

I must confess that during my childhood in the midst of my innocence and ignorance to see this kind of mushrooms I explored them either with stones or sticks and therefore I remember that they are somewhat hard and that this white coating is the weakest of this type of mushroom perhaps some of the subscribers, I know that the beautiful @riverflows has in her possession books of mushrooms, and she has seen many more than I have and it is likely that she will help me out of my doubt and tell me what type it is.

Debo confesar que durante mi niñez en medio de mi inocencia y desconocimiento al ver esta clase de hongos los exploraba ya fuera con piedras o palos y por ello recuerdo que son algo duros y que este revestimiento blanco es lo mas débil de este tipo de hongo tal vez alguno de los suscriptores, miembros o administradores de la comunidad logre, sacarme de mi ignorancia y decirme como se llaman y sé que la preciosa @riverflows tiene en su poder libros de hongos, además de que ha visto muchos mas que yo y es probable que me saque de mi duda y me indique de qué tipo es.

This mushroom is just at the foot of a tree that is in some gardens of the Urbanization, just in this tree is the plant of this [publication]( https://peakd.com/hive-194913/@actioncats/epiphytic-plant-eng-spa), which by the way already has buds that will give flowers and everything seems to indicate that as my friend @popurri pointed out to me it is an orchid.

Este hongo está justamente al pie de un árbol que se encuentra en unos jardines de la Urbanización, justamente en este árbol se encuentra la planta de esta [publicación]( https://peakd.com/hive-194913/@actioncats/epiphytic-plant-eng-spa), la cual por cierto ya tiene botones que darán flores y todo parece indicar que como me señalo mi amiga @popurri es una orquídea.
