Today you could say that it has not stopped raining, I am a little worried about the consequences of heavy rains although it is also nice to be at home when it rains, drink coffee, get warm and take a book to read, and although I'm still not 100% after that strange flu that gave me on Saturday, I still took the opportunity to do some things, which my current little strength allows me and among them read another chapter of the book "Tales and Traditions of my Beloved Táriba", the chapter I want to share with you today is titled:

Since I read the title of this chapter I was curious about what it would be about because I only knew that they would talk about the father of the homeland Simon Bolivar and Juan Vicente Gomez, the first Venezuelan dictator. How did I know? Because when I finished reading the previous chapter, I saw the image of this chapter that in addition to the title as I mentioned before, it leaves us a referential image.
Now, here I discovered something curious that I really did not pay the slightest attention to when I studied history during my high school years and that is that both share both the date of birth and death.

Something that the author clarifies in his first lines is that he does not intend to make a comparison between these two men of history pretending to belittle the Liberator, but there are certain similarities in some aspects and other marked differences that made the difference between one and the other in their lives or in aspects of it.
For example, let's remember that Simón Bolivar was a rich boy from a very well known family and this assured him the best teachers during his education, while Juan Vicente Gómez, was a man of the people from a poor background, so he had to go to rural school or learn some basic things at home, knowing that he was very skilled in mathematical calculations.

These differences in upbringing are known to contrast in certain aspects, Bolivar as a man belonging to the high nobility of Caracas, had no idea of the needs of the people, he fought alongside or near them, but some of his generals had more control of the troops to be closer to his men, such as El Catire Paez. At the same time, being such an illustrious and noble man, he assumed and believed that everyone will be like him, noble, dignified, sincere, which brought him many tastes, which we can see throughout his biography and when reading the history of independence.
On the other hand, General Juan Vicente Gómez, being a man of the people raised among humble people, was not refined, but he had plenty of cunning, cunning, he was cunning, let's remember how he took the power of the country, also malicious.

In summary, this chapter in general lines makes us a comparison in several aspects of the life of these men, who were great figures of the history of Venezuela, obviously there are many other aspects in which a comparison is made, but it would be boring to share all of them, besides it is necessary to leave something for doubt, so I say goodbye until a next chapter, a hug and happy day to all.

Hoy se podría decir que no ha parado de llover, me preocupa un poco por las consecuencias que las fuertes lluvias aunque también es agradable estar en casa cuando llueve, tomar café abrigarse y tomar un libro para leer, y aunque todavía no estoy al 100 % después de esa gripe extraña que me dio el sábado, igual aproveche para hacer algunas cosas, las que mi poca fuerza actual me permite y entre ellas leer otro capito del libro “Cuentos y Tradiciones de mi Táriba Querida”, el capitulo que deseo compartir hoy con ustedes se titula:

Desde que leí el titulo de este capitulo tenia curiosidad de que trataría pues solo sabía que hablarían del padre de la Patria Simón Bolívar y de Juan Vicente Gómez, el primer dictador venezolano ¿Qué cómo lo supe? porque al terminar de leer el capitulo anterior, vi la imagen de este capítulo que además del título como ya mencioné nos deja una imagen referencial.
Ahora bien, aquí descubrí algo curioso al que de verdad no preste la menor atención cuando estudie historia durante mis años de secundaria y es que ambos comparten tanto la fecha de nacimiento como el fallecimiento.
Algo que el autor nos aclara en sus primeras líneas es que el no pretende hacer una comparación entre estos dos hombres de la historia pretendiendo desmerecer al Libertador, pero hay ciertas similitudes en algunos aspectos y en otras diferencias marcadas que hicieron la diferencia entre uno y otro en sus vidas o en aspectos de la misma.
Por ejemplo, recordemos que Simón Bolívar era un niño rico de cuna de una familia muy reconocida y que esto le aseguró los mejores maestros durante toda su educación, en cambio Juan Vicente Gómez, era un hombre el pueblo de procedencia pobre, así que debió ir a la escuela rural o aprender algunas cosas básicas en casa, sabiéndose que era muy hábil para los cálculos matemáticos.
Estas diferencias de crianza se saben hicieron la contraste en ciertos aspectos, Bolívar como hombre perteneciente a la alta nobleza caraqueña, no tenía ni idea de las necesidades del pueblo, batallo junto a ellos o cerca, pero algunos de sus generales tenían mas dominio de la tropa al ser mas cercanos a sus hombres, como por ejemplo El Catire Páez. Al mismo tiempo al ser un hombre tan ilustre y noble asumió y creía que todos serán como el, nobles, dignos, sinceros lo que le trajo muchos sin sabores, los cuales podemos ver a lo largo de su biografía y al leer la historia independentista.
En cambio, el General Juan Vicente Gómez, al ser un hombre del pueblo criado entre gente humilde, no ere refinado, pero le sobraba la bribonería, astucia, era de artimañas, recordemos como tomo el poder del país, también malintencionado.

En resumen, este capítulo en líneas generales nos hace una comparación en varios aspectos de la vida de estos hombres, quienes fueron grandes figuras de la historia de Venezuela, obviamente hay muchos otros aspectos en los que se realiza una comparación, pero sería aburrido compartirlos todos además hay que dejar algo para duda, así me despido hasta un próximo capitulo un abrazo y feliz día para todos.
