Friendship is something everyone needs. Infact, we need friends around us for us to be happy. But sometimes we can't compare the friendship of childhood and that of when we become adults. They are two different things all together. We may just choose anyhow friends when we were kids, but as an adult you make the right choice of the type of friends that you want.

Right from my primary school days I have had some friends that just started as a result of playing together or living together. But I have only few that are very close to me. Because I am the type that loves playing, it made me had lots of them. Each time I changed a class I must surely have a new friend, as longs as you love playing too. Fortunately for me there were so many of them who loves playing like me. But you know one funny thing about me is that if you are my friend and I discovered something bad about you, then that friendship is about to crack. I had friends who I left behind and moved on  even while we were still in primary school. But there was this one that just refused to let go of our friendship. I don't know why we were friends so that long, but one of the factors could be because we lived in the same compound. Sometimes we will have our small children problems right from school and even fight,  when we get home it will not take long before we settled and began another set of play again.

AZUKA, MY LOST CHILDHOOD FRIEND.

Azuka was my childhood friend who we also grew up together. We started our friendship right from when I was about seven years old. She used to live with her elder sister in Abuja, but when they was a little problem between she was returned to Jos. Fortunately enough for us, her mother lives in the same compound with my aunt. That was were we met each other and we kick start our friendship. We also went to the same primary school together. But when we got to ten age, we were separated. At that time I couldn't stay with my aunt anymore because I felt that I needed a better life than what I have then. I needed a change of environment.

I was taking back to my mother in the village and from that moment on I never heard from Azuka not until when I came back to Jos to see my aunt that I saw Azuka again and it was as if I should not go back again. Of course I did not go back to the village again to live there, but I didn't also stay back in Jos with my aunt. I had to go another state to live my desired life.

WHERE IS SHE NOW? 

I have asked a few friends years back about the where about of Azuka, and I never got any feedback. She also left Jos but to an unknown destination to me. Maybe she might be married somewhere. I can't tell about that. But for sure I did love to see her again.

HOW WILL I REACT IF I SEE HER AGAIN? 
hahaha 😄. This is actually a funny question and I need to laugh a little before answering the question. First, spending a day with her will be like an hour for me. I would really love to stay with her all through discussing about life when we were kids, the things we did fight over back then, how we left each other. I will also love to know what she is up to now - like what she does, where she lives, married or not married, kids or no kids. You know this kind of discussion do take days before it will end. So, seeing her again will be lovely for me.
