Hola, amigos de #geekzone. El día de hoy les traigo el gameplay de un juego que tenía ganas de probar desde hace mucho tiempo, lo había visto en varias publicaciones de la comunidad y me encantó por su estética. Lamentablemente, yo tenía una lista de juegos pendientes de probar, por lo que es hasta ahora, un mes después de haberlo instalado, que pude dar mis primeros pasos en Sky: hijos de la luz.

Sky, es un juego indie de mundo abierto, aventuras y exploración en el que tomamos el papel de un niño de las luces al que se le ha encomendado la labor de ayudar a los "espíritus perdidos" a encontrar su camino de vuelta a casa. Es un juego multiplataforma, está disponible para Nintendo Switch, PS 4 y 5, iOS y Android, siendo esta última la plataforma en la que lo estoy jugando, donde además se puede descargar gratis desde la [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tgc.sky.android&hl=en_US&gl=US).

Debo decir que comencé a probar Sky con expectativas bastante altas, había leído muy buenos comentarios, visualmente me parecía muy atractivo, además de que al momento de su lanzamiento recibió varios reconocimientos, todo apuntaba a que iba a ser una experiencia extraordinaria y así fue durante los primeros minutos del juego, en los cuales nos presentan la típica introducción, nos enseñan a manejar los controles y nos explican un poco sobre la historia y de lo que trata el juego.

Todo esto es bastante normal, en cualquier juego es así, pero en Sky esa introducción duró casi la media hora que estuve probándolo, muchísimas cinemáticas (demasiadas para mi gusto), hasta que llegué al punto en el que solo quería que me dejara jugar, explorar, que es lo que más me gusta hacer en este tipo de juegos, pero daba unos pasos y terminaba envuelta nuevamente en una cinemática.

Llegué a un punto en el que pensé que esto iba a cambiar porque me apareció la opción de interactuar con otros jugadores, personalizar a mi personaje y otras cosas más, pero aparentemente todavía seguíamos en “entrenamiento” porque continuaron las cinemáticas para enseñarnos MÁS cosas innecesarias. Después de media hora de nada, decidí que era el momento de dejarlo, quería avanzar un poco más para ver si algo cambiaba, pero me desesperó demasiado perder a cada rato el control del personaje porque venía otro videíto.

No puedo decir que es un mal juego porque en realidad no lo es, su historia es interesante, tiene un diseño hermoso, su música creo que es su mejor atributo, además de que permite interactuar con otros jugadores para cumplir misiones o explorar juntos, pero a mí sencillamente no me convenció, no es el tipo de juegos que me gusten, demasiado tiempo perdido en introducciones y cinemáticas, quizás más adelante llegue a ponerse más interesante, no lo sé y no creo que intente averiguarlo.

Es una lástima que haya resultado de esa forma, como les comenté al principio, tenía muchas expectativas sobre este juego y terminé bastante decepcionada, esperando que pasara algo. Lo recomendaría a quienes les gusten los juegos relajantes y de mera exploración, sí, por el contrario, prefieren jugar algo de aventura y acción, seguramente terminarán un poco aburridos.

Hello, #geekzone friends. Today I bring you the gameplay of a game that I had wanted to try for a long time, I had seen it in several publications of the community and I loved it for its aesthetics. Unfortunately, I had a list of games pending to try, so it is until now, a month after installing it, that I could take my first steps in Sky: Children of Light.

Sky, is an open-world, adventure and exploration indie game in which we take the role of a child of lights tasked with helping "lost spirits" find their way back home. It is a multiplatform game, it is available for Nintendo Switch, PS 4 and 5, iOS and Android, the latter being the platform on which I am playing it, where it can also be downloaded for free from the [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tgc.sky.android&hl=en_US&gl=US).

I must say that I started to try Sky with pretty high expectations, I had read very good comments, visually it seemed very attractive, plus at the time of its launch it received several awards, everything pointed to that it was going to be an extraordinary experience and so it was during the first minutes of the game, in which we are presented with the typical introduction, they teach us to handle the controls and explain a little about the story and what the game is about.

All this is quite normal, in any game is like that, but in Sky that introduction lasted almost half an hour that I was trying it, a lot of cinematics (too many for my taste), until I reached the point where I just wanted to let me play, explore, which is what I like to do in this kind of games, but I took a few steps and ended up involved again in a cinematic.

I got to a point where I thought this was going to change because I got the option to interact with other players, customize my character and other things, but apparently we were still in "training" because the cinematics continued to teach us MORE unnecessary things. After half an hour of nothing, I decided it was time to quit, I wanted to advance a little more to see if something changed, but I was too desperate to lose control of the character every time because another video was coming.

I can't say it's a bad game because it really isn't, its story is interesting, it has a beautiful design, its music I think is its best attribute, plus it allows you to interact with other players to complete missions or explore together, but I just wasn't convinced, it's not the kind of game I like, too much time wasted in introductions and cinematics, maybe later on it will get more interesting, I don't know and I don't think I'll try to find out.

It's a pity it turned out that way, as I told you at the beginning, I had high expectations for this game and I ended up quite disappointed, waiting for something to happen. I would recommend it to those who like relaxing games and mere exploration, if, on the contrary, you prefer to play something of adventure and action, you will surely end up a little bored.
