Wild Plot Wednesdays:

<center>**Turn it into Sports** </center>

> Turn an existing anime into a sports genre. I'm only asking for a plot change. As an example, let's say Naruto was about Basketball instead of what we know today? I bet the perspective would've changed a lot. 


We encourage you to make a separate post about the contest but commenting your entry is also fine.

Do not forget to use the tag #wildplotwednesday21

Mechanics:

1. Make a separate post or comment under this post pitching in your wild plot and title. If you had to make a separate post, use the tag "wildplotwednesday21" for easy screening.
2. Your official entry under a separate post or comment should be 100 - 250 words. I'm only asking for a short plot summary not an entire fictitious anime review. If you want to continue building on the plot, I suggest making an entire separate post because this event also serve as a weekly contest prompt.
3. Rewards for the entries can take in the form of setting the participants and as beneficiaries for succeeding posts OR providing liquid rewards from the [@theanimerealm](https://peakd.com/@theanimerealm) account or my own account. The rewards will just pile up even if no entry for the week.
4. The use of extra materials to expound your idea is fine. These include sharing preexisting images, music videos, tropes that convey a similar or same theme as what your plot is trying to sell.
5. No AI assisted or plagiarized work please. While it can be difficult to spot AI written entries at times, it's not like one can get away with it for long. I'm telling you it's not worth losing your reputation if you resort to using AI than your imagination. We've been curating for a while and part of the screening practice is weeding out AI works.

Dragon Ball Z. Instead of martial arts, there would be running.

The series would start with a rivalry between two teams - the turtle team and the crane team. The turtle team, despite having been a close rival for years, has been doing worse recently due to the departure of an older and more experienced competitor. They are saved from trouble by young Goku, a stray from nowhere (by the way, there were supposedly many such cases in Argentina and Brazil when you and I were children/young teenagers - children with talent "grew out" of the streets). It turns out that his genes and body are ideally suited to sports and running. I would solve the issue of enemies from space by having Freezer, Cell, Buu, etc. simply be competitors from other countries (like in Hetalia or Hajime no Ippo - Hawk was a symbol of how Americans treat the Japanese). They would have better coaches, better training conditions, take part in competitions more often, etc. The final battle with Buu would be some kind of mega marathon that takes place every few years.
