## 2019 could begin bullish 


Looking at the daily BTC/USD chart, we can see that Bitcoin seems to be building a bullish flag pattern. Currently we're just below the 0.236 fibonacci retracement, heading toward the 21 day MA (yellow), which could act further as our support. The MACD is still above the signal line, heading upwards for now. We also build kind of a trend line on the RSI, which also could act as a fuel for the bullish flag.

## Moving Averages

Nothing to much to say here; on the CMC chart, we're further away from the 0.236 retracement and holding the support at the 34 day MA (purple). An important, future - predicting moment will be when the 21 MA (yellow) will meet the 55 day MA (blue). This will happen perhaps after 2-3 weeks from now.

## Weekly chart ([update from the 2014 comparison post](https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@aezakmi/the-ultimate-bitcoin-forecast-based-on-the-2014-movement))
So far, we're going as planned. It looks like we're about to revisit the support (200 MA weekly), in the coming weeks.

## Closing the last candle
Bitcoin is closing today the 12th and last candle for 2018. We're just below the 34 MA (purple) on the monthly chart, with a potential attraction towards the 55 MA (blue), currently at ~ 2800$. A brief visit at this level is not excluded.
