### <div class="text-center">Rise of Steemit</div>
In the last one year, Steemit has been popular among the netizens over the world, Indonesia in particular. It can not be denied that writing in Steemit is different with writing on other social media because Steemit is a based Crypto-blockchain platform. In this case, Steemit provides more benefits to its users, one of them is upvote system where the authors can earn amount of money from their writings. In other sides, the authors or users  do not need to put advertisement like other blogs to get rewards. 

The phenomenon of the emergence of Steemit becomes so interesting from my point of view, this will give birth to writers in Indonesia, particularly in Aceh who do not like to write. So with various motives, the emergence of Steemit can encourage new authors in Aceh to write in this platform, and I am very confident in the next few years this will bring up a number of famous authors in Indonesia.

So far, it has been six month since the first time I write using this platform, and what I earn from my writing is really satisfied. I myself have many writings that I wrote when I was a student in university. However, I used this platform to share my writing to other authors and earn rewards of those writing. It is really amazing to earn money from what I write instead of I keep my writing in my PC. Yeah, I agree that some people say that writing in not about the money but is a passion, but I think it is much better when  we do our passion and earn what deserve of it. 

As far as I am concerned, the writers who are involved in this platform  also come from various professions  such as teachers, lecturers, students, researchers, scientist, photographers, and also farmers and laborers. It is amazing for me to read various writings from various backgrounds. So I get various writing starting  from very important, more important, important, not so important to the writing that is not important at all. But, I can understand that judging someone's writing is not my right because it is really subjective. 

But, the most important question on this phenomenon is "will the emergence of Steemit give opportunity for new writers/authors?

### <div class="text-center">Writing Problems</div>
Writing is the most difficult skill to be mastered. This skill is much different than other skill like speaking. But, in this chance I do not intend to elaborate about the writing skill because you can find a amount of literature and research journals about this skill. What I want to write is about the problem of writing in Steemit. 

Based on my point of view, the emergence of Steemit provides a large opportunity for new writers in this platform. But, the increasing of reading interest of new writer is no compensated by the increasing of their interest in reading. Consequently, the lack of reading interest impact on their writing quality. It can be seen that many writings are still saddening to read where the sentence errors and grammatical errors appear throughout the paragraphs. 

I personally believe that reading as the first step to write well. New writers like me must read a lot to produce a good quality writing and this need to do by other steemians also as the new writers of this platform. By doing this, we expect that Steemit become an attractive medium to produce great writers. I hope!!!
