Here's the world's most powerful supercomputer

#China, which has long been the home of the fastest #supercomputer in the world, lost this title in the past days. A new supercomputer emerged in the US, leaving China behind with the power, the world's most powerful supercomputer.
Introducing the new supercomputer Summit, which can run at 200 petaflop speeds, the US has passed by China's 93 petaflop supercomputer Sunway TaihuLight.
Summit is made up of 4608 servers and the area of coverage is reaching the size of two tennis courts. Computers with 9000 22-core #IBM #Power9 #processors also have 27,000 #Nvidia #Tesla V100 #GPUs.

Specially designed to focus on artificial intelligence work, Summit is injected with 4000 gallons of cold water per minute to get the heat. The monthly energy consumption of the computer is equal to the total energy of 8100 households per month.
