A Bitcoin Mining Company Mined Bitcoin in Space?

A Bitcoin mining company has actually successfully mined Bitcoin and completed transactions in space. That's kind of an exaggeration because essentially they send a weather balloon up and you know they didn't really mine in space, they didn't really set up a mining farm but they were in high atmospheric conditions I suppose.

Now, Coindesk spoke to the Miner One CEO Prana Slusnys about the meaning of the launch and his future plans and he is quoted as saying,

But yeah obviously this is really pretty exciting news of course the project as I stated was kind of a PR stunt to garner interest in the company overall but NASA is actually using blockchain protocol to further develop projects for space exploration.

So I think that's really interesting as always, of course seeing development is generally a good thing but I would love to see what do you think about this development.

This is a genius idea even if its not real. It would be dope to have a solar paneled Bitcoin miner orbit in such a way as to receive the sun's energy for 24 hours non stop. This could also be an effective way to conduct space farming ;)
