Greetings!

A few days ago I started playing Gods Unchained and right at the bat I was hooked on the game because it is a very challenging and fun trading card game that pays to play. Before I started playing I am already seeing a lot of posts/blogs about the game here at Hive. The first time that I saw this game I am already got interested in playing it and I finally get to play it.

# Logging in for the first time

Logging in for the first time to the game makes me very excited because of the stunning graphics that greets you

# Exploring

After I logged in I need to familiarize myself first with the interface. The interface is very easy to use, and well designed. Before I actually log in with the game and play the game I watched a [Complete Starter Guide](https://peakd.com/hive-173286/@copperpitch/gods-unchained-complete-starters-guide) from @copperpitch which is a must-watch video if you are planning to play this game. After logging in you will see some menus on top where you will find everything you need. On the "Workshop" menu is where you are going to create your deck and the "Arena" you are going to play.

# Creating decks

The first time that I clicked the workshop menu I am greeted by a window that let me "Choose a God" where the deck that you are going to create will be based, I chose Auros.

# Choosing cards

After choosing a God the next step is choosing the cards. Choosing cards is where I spent some time because I have to read the information on the cards that I am going to choose. Reading carefully the card's information is critical in creating a good deck. So, be patient in choosing if you are planning to play.

# Playing my first Tutorial Mission

After I created my first deck, which is a war deck, I head on to familiarize more myself with the game by playing both the Tutorial Mission which is very very easy to understand. Playing the tutorial mission makes me comfortable head-on in playing my first-ever ranked game.

After completing the two available missions I head on to open the packs in the Open Reward menu.

# Played my first-ever Ranked game

After playing the tutorial mission, I immediately head on to playing my first ever Ranked game with nothing to expect, I was matched with a fellow rank one player.

# Victory!

I must admit, I am always lucky at the start of something, haha. And I attribute to it winning my first-ever ranked game, which makes me very pumped up to play the game more.

# Thoughts

My overall impression of the game is it is very fun to play and the challenge is very real because you get to compete with a real person/player all over the world which makes the game very competitive. Creating a deck has endless combinations, I think any deck can bring you victory if it is well built and getting familiar with it. Game familiarization is easy for me after I played my first 10 "Daily Play & Earn" games.
