Angels and Demons waging war with each other is nothing new regarding movies, series, and even video games. Call it cliche but still, the possibility is endless on how to tell the story. I find it refreshing in "The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil" as it tells a somewhat unique story between an angel and a devil.

# Plot

<div class="text-justify">
The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil tells the story of a devil on a mission to find a person who will save his world (hell) on the brink of destruction. But then things do not go as planned when he meets an angel in disguise who is also one of his classmates.

# A surprise

To be honest I was immediately disappointed when a bald character was introduced as a new student and I did not expect it at all. Although I knew that there are always surprises in anime I did not expect it to be one of them. As it turned out, the bald student was not bald after all as he was only wearing false hair.

# I am not expecting...

Although the title of this anime says it all I am also not expecting that he is going to be immediately introduced to an angel going by the name Lily. To be honest, I am not expecting that this anime is fast-paced. I thought the angel and the devil would only be going to be introduced to each other at the end of the episode but I was wrong.

# A lot of humor

Whenever I am watching an anime I am always hooked to the humor that it brings and this anime has a lot of them. Someone will not be bored watching this plus it is a fast-paced first episode.

# Nice fight scenes and suspense

I am also not expecting a brief and nice battle between Masatora and Lily because I thought this was only a romance comedy anime featuring an angel and a devil. And just like I said earlier the story of this anime is kind of unique too. Also, there is an element of suspense in this episode regarding the sudden appearance of Lily from out of nowhere.

# Conclusion

All in all episode 1 is nice, it is fast-paced with lots of humor, some surprises, and suspense. I bet that you are not going to be bored watching this one because it has a lot of humor and will be treated with a brief battle between Masatora and Lily. Episode 1 makes episode 2 interesting as is opens a lot of questions on what will happen next.
