I posted yesterday that we're getting pretty close to having a good mobile gaming experience on Hive.  I wanted to show what that actually looks like.  Below are two screenshots taken on a phone regarding transactions taking place on the blockchain, which were signed by keychain mobile app.

At the top you can see that it's a phone with signal and battery life.  You can see that you can click back to go back to Hive Keychain mobile app. You can see that the transaction is waiting for confirmation and has been confirmed.

What you're looking at is the start of the next phase of Hive on mobile.  It isn't just something that Invennium will be able to use.  Because of the work that @stoodkev and @goodkarma did with us other apps can use this workflow too. 

You'll be able to store your keys in one central app, and then after that you'll be able to call the app anytime you have to sign something, sign it, and have the transaction go through from your phone.

You won't have to store your keys in every different mobile app.  You'll store them once in Hive Keychain Mobile App and you'll be able to use those keys with any of the different apps in your favorite browser.


# Games

When you're playing games you probably want to use the app.  That's because there's lots of game assets that if you have to load into a browser every time it'll take a lot of time.  It's easier to get the game app, store all the art and music on your phone, and not have to load it every time.

That said, the app stores aren't friendly to about payments.  They take a large cut of payments, but also they aren't friendly towards crypto payments.  Crypto payments are nice because they aren't reverisble.  Fiat payments systems suffer from systemic fraud.  So, when we get paid in crypto we know the payment is real.  

# Payment system

To make it easier to handle crypto payments I'm trying to introduce a payment system via hive-engine.  Hopefully soon anyone on Hive can invoice another party and pay using your favorite swap.X currencies that live on hive-engine.com.  You'll also save yourself a few percent because there aren't bank fees along the way.  You don't have to pay mastercard 3% when you send hive.

# Concept is working... Time for products.

So, our goal is focus our efforts on getting the things that we already have working on desktop to work on mobile.  We have the systems in place to integrate with the Keychain Mobile App.  This should make it a nice experience.  If you want to get a head start in being able to use the tools we build on your mobile phone you can download the Hive Keychain Mobile App on your phone and get your accounts and keys setup.

First goal is to the get the game launcher app up and running.
Then stake house den.
Then Moon Karts.

I think it'll be pretty awesome to play games on your phone and earn rewards on the blockchain while doing it.

# As we build we want a mix of free to play and play to earn

Free to play is great for getting new players in the door.  Play to earn is great for monetizing entire systems.  The combo of the two is powerful because you can attract a lot of people and monetize the community for everyone involved.  So, one of the things we're actively trying to figure out and make easy for game makers is to have parts of your game operate as free to play and parts of the game to operate as play to earn.  This means that certain benefits are blocked unless you have NFTs rather than simply digital collectibles.

# The future of Hive Mobile Gaming is now

Anyway, this has been a dream of mine for something like 4 years, and we're right on the cusp of releasing the first products that work this way.  I think it's pretty damn exciting.  Hopefully you do to.
