Is it just me or do palm trees and coconut trees have a liberating persona? As someone who has spent most of her life in the midst of hills and mountains, I can literally count the number of times I have been to places with these trees. I love being around trees, clicking their pictures and even making their paintings. It is one of those simple pleasures of life and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had dreams involving gorgeous landscapes. Sometimes I am underwater swimming with the marine life and sometimes I am amongst the birds! And is sucks when I wake up and realise it was ALL a dream lol. The reference picture that I used here (end of post) looked somewhat surrealistic to me and seemed like a perfect one to paint.
