What if Splinterlands characters represented astrological signs?

I confess that I laughed at the thought of that possibility this afternoon. After all, it was an interesting brain exercise to imagine the personality of some SM characters and relate them to astrological signs. The fundamentals I used to define it were the appearance of the character, the element they represent in the game, their powers, and another rule I established for myself, is that I could only choose monsters and not summoners, making my job a little more difficult yes , but also making the task more interesting, Lol. In this first moment, I decided to do the astrological analysis of 4 cards, but in the next posts, I intend to address 4 more and so on until I complete the 12 zodiac signs.

Choosing a character to represent each sign was not easy, but I confess that it was quite fun. An important thing that you should also take into account is that the choice was based on my own deck, but feel free to suggest a character in the comments if you think it matches any of the signs discussed. **Aries**

I chose Serpentine Spy for the sign of Aries, because he is a character of the fire element, fast, and with the ability of opportunity, taking advantage of any gap to defeat the enemy. Arians are known for their lack of patience, and their willingness to win at any cost. In addition, the natural element of Aries is also fire, and this card reminds me of a salamander that, for those who don't know, is an amphibian extremely resistant to this element.


**Taurus**

It couldn't be different! For the sign of Taurus, I chose the Minotaur Warrior card, a card of the Earth element, as well as the sign of Taurus.

Taureans are very emotionally resistant people, and they tend to be cautious before taking action, which perfectly matches the Reach ability of this card, in addition to the character's own appearance, Lol.

Gemini is usually quite intelligent and strategic. As it is a sign ruled by Mercury, they tend to think very quickly in the face of different situations in life. **Cancer**

I confess that this was the most difficult of the four. The main characteristic of Cancerians is that they are very emotional people and they usually hide their feelings. After much thought, I thought it was appropriate to choose Ice Pixie for this sign, as she looks very a fairy to me, which would demonstrate the sensitivity of Cancer. Her 'flying' ability demonstrates the ability of Cancerians to go over their own emotions to protect themselves.

E se os personagens de Splinterlands representassem signos astrológicos?

Confesso que ri ao pensar nessa possibilidade hoje a tarde. Afinal, foi um exercício cerebral interessante imaginar a personalidade de alguns personagens de SM e relacioná-los a signos astrológicos. Os fundamentos que utilizei pra definir, foi a aparência do personagem, o elemento que eles representam no jogo, seus poderes e outra regrinha que estabeleci para mim mesma, é que só poderia escolher monstros e não summoners, deixando meu trabalho um pouco mais difícil sim, mas também deixando a tarefa mais interessante, Lol. Nesse primeiro momento, decidi fazer a análise astrológica de 4 personagens, mas com toda certeza nos próximos posts, pretendo abordar mais 4 e assim por diante até completar os 12 signos zodiacais.

Escolher um personagem apenas para representar cada signo não foi uma tarefa muito fácil, mas confesso que foi bastante divertido. Uma coisa importante que vocês devem levar em conta também, é que a escolha foi baseada no meu próprio baralho, mas fique a vontade pra sugerir algum personagens nos comentários se você achar que ele combina com algum dos signos abordados. Agora, sem mais delongas, vamos lá!


**Áries**


Escolhi Serpetine Spy para o signo de áries, pois é um personagem do elemento fogo, rápido, e com uma a habilidade da oportunidade, aproveitando qualquer brecha para derrotar o inimigo. Arianos são conhecidos por sua falta de paciência, e sua vontade de vencer a qualquer custo. Além disso, o elemento natural de aries também é o fogo, e esta carta me lembra uma salamandra que para quem não sabe, é um anfíbio extremamente resistente ao a este elemento.


**Touro**

Não podia ser diferente! Para o signo de touro escolhi a carta Minotaur Warrior, uma carta do elemento Terra, assim como o signo de touro. 
Taurinos são pessoas muito resistentes emocionalmente, e costumam ser cautelosos antes de tomarem uma atitude, o que combina perfeitamente com a habilidade Reach, dessa carta, além é claro, da própria aparência do personagem, Lol.



**Gêmeos**

Geminianos costumam ser bastante inteligentes e estrategistas. Como é um signo regido por mercúrio, eles costumam ter um pensamento muito rápido diante de situações diversas da vida. Silvershield Assassin com as habilidades Sneak e Dobble Attack, é uma combinação perfeita com esse signo que costuma facilmente surpreender as pessoas por sua agilidade mental.



**Câncer**

Confesso que esse foi o mais difícil dos quatro. A principal característica dos cancerianos é que são pessoas muito emocionais e que normalmente escondem seus sentimentos. Depois de muito pensar, achei apropriado escolher a Ice Pixie para este signo, pelo fato dela aparentar muito uma fada pra mim, o que demonstraria a sensibilidade de câncer. Sua habilidade ‘flaying’demonstra a capacidade que cancerianos tem de passar por cima de suas próprias emoções para se proteger.
