Yesterday I wrote that I bought a hand mixer with a stand. [Jetzt HM 3810 Handmixer-Set für EUR 34.99 kaufen | SEVERIN HM 3810 Handmixer-Set | SEVERIN](https://www.severin.de/hm-3810-handmixer-set-3810000.html) I used it today to make toast bread, which I bake quite frequently at least once or twice a week. The machine worked like shown in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOn1XAvQ11s&list=PL-_37iA0AAC8mZumnRRo_Al_XAQ92huTC I had to scrape the dough down and flip it from the bottom of the bowl once as the kneading hook doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl. Overall it worked well. The finished bread is as fluffy as always 🍞😊  I was thinking about upgrading it to stand mixer (Black Friday and Cyber Monday come in November!) but I'm not sure their bowls are too big for my use case. My friend who is a professional cook mentioned about it too. 3L bowl is enough large for my 300g flour plus 230g water dough. If the bowl were 5L, certainly the dough wasn't kneaded well. The cost o the whole the system was 30 Euro while stand mixers cost easily 300 Euro. So far I think it was a good investment as regular hand mixer cost around 25 Euro in Germany. I'll try some more types of bread such as sour dough bread soon 😊 --- 昨日届いたハンドミキサーとスタンドを使って食パンの生地をこねてみました。一度こねている最中にボウルの周りの生地を落として、底から生地をひっくり返した以外は手を出しませんでした。よく思い返してみると、母のニーダー(パンこね機)には底に羽がついていたもんな・・・。 焼き上がりはいつも通りふわふわでした。15分、20分つきっきりでこねないでよい快適さといったら!こねるのも楽しいのですが、忙しい時に「機械に任せる」という選択肢があるだけでいろいろなことが気楽になります。 スタンドミキサーも考えていましたが、多くのタイプはボウルの大きさが5Lで、私が一度に作る量(食パン1斤、小麦粉300g+水230g)だときちんとこねることができないように思います。私が買ったもののボウルは3L。 スタンドミキサーが300ユーロ(3万5千円強)するのに対して、私が買ったものは30ユーロ。10分の1の金額で用途にフィットしたらいうことなしで、今の所とても満足しています。 食パン以外のパンでも試してみようと思います。明日はサワードウのパンを焼こうかな!

The standing part of your mixer is such a good tool. I will research if I can buy something like this for mine too. So far mine works ok for softer bread dough with a high water content, but the baguette I made... there the mixer got smelly and I stopped before it broke. Looking forward to your long time test (or new stand mixer... although I am not entirely sure which variety you mean?)

Ja, I think I don't use it for bagels. The dough is too hard. I mean Kitchenaid by stand mixer. But their bowl is too big. I see one from WMF but it costs more than 300 EUR ........ I cannot instantly jump on it.
