I recently read some opinions on Hive JA about the relation ship between the reward of a post and the length or number of photos in it. In this post, I write about what I think.

While quantitative measures such as the length of a post or the number of photos can be helpful in evaluating a blog post, they often miss out on qualitative assessments, leading to an incomplete evaluation.

I personally enjoy reading thorough and well-structured texts in books, but when it comes to blog posts, I prefer those that are easy to read, short, well-organized, and packed with useful information ... like small middle east sweets shown in the photo above 😁

Therefore, even if it might increase the potential for rewards, I don't like to include redundant photos or detailed descriptions such as every single step of a cooking process, when I write a post. If readers have questions, they can always ask the author in the comments. This interactive aspect is one of the great things about online media. Therefore, I believe it's not necessary to explain everything in detail; instead, good short text to grab readers heart is more important.

This can be just my personal preference, but I believe in providing quality information while writing frequently with less burden. Then, based on feedback, I can refine and improve the posts that are well-received.

With all this in mind, I plan to experiment with shorter posts until the end of the year to see how they are received 😊 I hope to gain valuable insights by doing so and share them to Hive JA.

このところHive JAで投稿の分量や交流と報酬の関係についての意見を読んで、私の思うところを書きたいと思いました。

投稿の長さや、写真の枚数は、定量的に投稿を評価のに役立ちますが、定性的な評価が抜け落ちてしまい、投稿を完全に評価しきれないと思います。

私は本でがっつりまとまった文章を読むのは好きですが、ブログの投稿はコンパクトにまとまっていて、なおかつ良い情報が入っているものが好みです。サムネイル画像の中東のお菓子のように、小さくて美しくてコンパクトで内容がぎゅぎゅっと詰まった投稿が好きです。

なので、報酬が上がる可能性があるとはいえ、自分で書くときには、調理の全工程の写真や記述を細かく入れるなど、冗長な写真や記述は入れたくありません。読者はわからないところがあったら、著者にコメントで聞けるし、それが双方向なメディアの良いところでもあります。だから説明しつくさなくていいし、つかみが大事だと思います。

あくまで私個人のスタンスですが、良い情報を提供するように気をつけつつ、負担少なくたくさん書いてみて、評判が良かったものをブラッシュアップしていけば良いというスタンスです。

そんなこんなで年末までは短めの投稿でどのくらい評価されるかチャレンジしてみようと思います 😊 良い知見が得られてHive JAで共有できるといいな
