It's a rainy chilly day today in my region in Germany. I feel autumn comes away earlier than usual.

I decided to bake plum cake with plums I picked from my friends' garden. Baking one or two plum cakes in this season became my routine in the last years. I like this kind of German seasonal cooking.

Now baking onion cake is on my list. I wish I can do this kind of cooking with my own harvest.

例年だと9月のこの時期でもまだ暑い日があるのですが、今年はもう秋のようです。今日は雨降りで肌寒い1日でした。

そんなこんなでこの時期恒例のプラムのケーキを焼くことにしました。今年はお友達の庭からわけてもらったプラムで焼いたのでおいしさはひとしおでした。こういうドイツの季節ごとの料理も好きで、次はオニオンクーヘン（パン生地にカラメライズした玉ねぎをのせてやいたもの）を作りたいなと思っています。

いつかは自分の庭を手に入れて、庭からの収穫でこういうものを作れるようになったらいいな 😊
