Hola, querida comunidad de Hive Food, es un gusto para mí, publicar nuevamente para todos ustedes, en esta oportunidad me gustaría compartir un exquisito plato que forma parte de mi dieta familiar, como lo es, el "Pollo en salsa de berenjena  acompañado con quinoa y vegetales".

Esta comida, la realizo con mucha frecuencia para mi familia, a manera de mantener una dieta equilibrada, sobretodo  por la abundancia y fácil acceso de las comidas rápidas y chatarras; que a pesar de ser a veces un tanto sabrosas, no nos aportan buenos nutrientes al organismo. Por eso desde hace un tiempo, decidí cocinar para mi familia, comidas saludables y nutritivas, anexado a nuestra dieta buenas proteínas y vegetales; también incluí en nuestras comidas diarias la quinoa, por ser un alimento altamente nutricional.

### Pollo en salsa de berenjena

•	1 berenjena 
•	3 hojas de orégano grande                                                       
•	8 dientes Ajo                                                         
•	1 cucharada de mantequilla ó aceite de oliva                                                                      
•	Sal y pimienta al gusto

•	1 eggplant 
•	3 large oregano leaves                                                       
•	8 cloves garlic                                                         
•	1 tablespoon butter or olive oil

**Procedimiento // Procedure**

1- Cortar, lavar y sazonar las piezas de pollo, con el ajo y orégano previamente triturados en un mortero, luego salpimentar al gusto y reservar.

2- Lavar la berenjena y asarla directamente en el fuego de la hornilla.

3- Luego de asar la berenjena, reservar por unos minutos para que se enfríe, posteriormente retirarle toda la piel quemada.

4- Licuar con dos tazas de agua o caldo de pollo, la berenjena ya asada y con la piel quemada retirada; reservar.

5- En un sarten a fuego medio añadir la cucharada de mantequilla hasta que se derrita, luego dorar las piezas de pollo con la mantequilla o aceite de oliva. Para este procedimiento, procedemos a voltear las piezas de pollo cada 5 minutos, por un espacio de 20 minutos.

>5-In a frying pan over medium heat add the tablespoon of butter until it melts, then brown the chicken pieces with the butter or olive oil. For this procedure, we proceed to turn the chicken pieces every 5 minutes, for a period of 20 minutes.

6- Luego de dorar las piezas de pollo por 20 minutos,  añadir la berenjena ya licuada.

7- Una vez añadida la berenjena licuada, dejamos cocinar a fuego medio y tapamos por 15 minutos, transcurrido este tiempo, procedemos a voltear la piezas de pollo y dejamos cocinar por 15 minutos más, también tapado y a fuego medio. Pasado este tiempo, volvemos a voltear las piezas de pollo, apagamos el fuego y ya tenemos listo el pollo en salsa de berenjena. Reservar para luego servir.

• 2 tazas de agua o caldo de pollo
• 1 Zanahoria
• 300 gr de brocoli 
• 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva
• Sal al gusto

• 1 carrot
• 300 gr de broccoli 
• 1 tablespoon of olive oil
• Salt to taste

**Procedimiento // Procedure**

1- Lavar la zanahoria y el brocoli. Quitar la cáscara de la Zanahoria y rallar. Desmenuzar el brocoli, en rama por rama. Reservar.

2-Lavar la quinoa, luego colocarla en una olla con dos tazas de agua o caldo de pollo, añadirle sal a gusto. Llevar la olla  a la cocina y la dejamos a fuego medio, hasta que comience a hervir. 

>2- Wash the quinoa, then place it in a pot with two cups of water or chicken broth, add salt to taste. Take the pot to the stove and leave it over medium heat until it starts to boil..

3- Cuando el agua de la quinoa comience a hervir añadirle el brocoli, dejar cocinando tapado a fuego bajo por 5 minutos.

4- Después de transcurrido 5 minutos de haber colocado el brocoli, añadir la Zanahoria rallada, tapar y dejar cocinando tapado a fuego bajo por 5 minutos más.

5- Luego de transcurrir este tiempo, revolver  la quinoa, el brocoli y la zanahoria. Tapar y dejar cocinar por 10 minutos más, a fuego bajo.

6- Cuando ya este evaporada toda el agua, y esten cocidos la quinoa, el  brocoli y la zanahoria, apagar el fuego y servir.

**Procedimiento // Procedure**

1- Lavar el  plátano y cortarlo sin quitarle la cáscara, en pedazos pequeños. 

2- Llevar a hervir con agua hasta que estén cocidos.
 
3- Una vez cocinados, reservar hasta que se enfrie, luego retirar la cáscara y servir. 

>1- Wash the plantain and cut it into small pieces without 
    removing the peel. 

>2- Bring to boil with water until cooked.

>3- Once cooked, set aside until cool, then remove the peel 
and server.

Una vez cocinado el pollo con la salsa de berenjena y la quinoa con vegetales, es hora de servirse a su gusto, también puede acompañar esta comida con lo que desee, en mi hogar somo fanáticos del plátano, y nunca perdemos la oportunidad de incluirlo en nuestras comidas.

Me hace feliz tener la dicha de poder cocinar  y comer un rico almuerzo, pero lo que más me llena de felicidad  es poder  realizar una deliciosa comida nutritiva y saludable, ya que al comer de esta manera adquirimos, mi familia y yo,  una dieta  llena de  muchos beneficios a favor de nuestra salud. Recordemos  lo que dijo Hipocrates: *"Que la comida sea tu alimento y el alimento, tu medicina"*. Entonces puedo decir que la alimentación saludable y nutritiva no sirve sólo como tratamiento de una enfermedad,  sino también como prevención de la misma.

Me despido, esperando que les haya gustado la receta y que se animen a preparar esta deliciosa comida altamente nutritiva y saludable, además que tengan la oportunidad de compartirlo con sus seres queridos.

no sabia esto de la salsa con berenjena, y el pollo, es una buena forma de prepararlo, la quinoa la desconozco, creo que nunca la he probado, yo soy de las que prefiero más la comida chatarra jejeje si sé que no debería, es más lo tengo prohibido, pero como se le hace, igual se ve muy rica tu comida amiga, saludos jijij

Asar la berenjena es un secreto de cocina que un tío me enseño. El pollo queda delicioso al prepararlo de esta manera, la quinoa la conocí hace algunos años atrás y la adopte en mis comidas, te la recomiendo ya que es un super alimento. La comida chatarra, no te voy negar que es sabrosa, pero poco a poco la he estado abandonando.
