The Hubble Orbital Observatory received detailed photographs of the cluster of galaxies PLCK G308.3-20.2 in the constellation of Paradise Bird, one of the largest objects in the foreseeable universe.

Most of the galaxies in the surrounding Universe, including the Milky Way itself, are part of larger clusters of matter, clusters and superclusters of galaxies, RIA Novosti reported.

Many of them, as the observations of recent years show, stretch out to millions and tens of millions of light years, and have a mass of tens and hundreds of trillion solar masses, most of which falls on dark matter.

Scientists are actively studying similar groups of galaxies. Their study, as cosmologists hope today, will help us understand what role dark matter and dark energy play in their education and life, and how their structure and distribution in the universe are related to how matter was distributed over the universe in the first instants after The Big Bang.

Observations of the motion of the PLCK G308.3-20.2 and other major clusters of galaxies, as the Hubble research team notes, has already helped astronomers find the two largest structures in the universe that affect the movement of the Milky Way and all other nearby galaxies. Now the Hubble conducts a kind of census among the largest clusters of galaxies of the universe, receiving their detailed photographs in the framework of the RELICS project.
