A simple question after a long day

Hello, <br><br>
Today I had a very long day. I left at 5 and was out of the house at 6 to sit around 9 in a meeting until 19:00 in Nuremberg. The meeting was not easy either. With my colleague, we were in the same room all the time while the other party was always changing. <br><br>
After such a long day, one wonders if it makes sense what one does on a daily basis, if it is effective on reaching my goal. If I now speak of the goal, I must ask myself: What is my goal? What do I want to achieve? <br><br>
I am already aware of what I would like to do with the rest of my life. The question I have to ask myself is: Am I doing the right thing to achieve this? At the moment I can not answer that, <br><br>
Do you have goals? Can you achieve this, or rather strive to achieve that?

heute hatte ich ein sehr langes Tag. Bin um 5 aufegstanden und war um 6 raus aus dem Haus um gegen 9 in einem Meeting zu sitzen bis 19:00 in Nürnberg. Das Meeting war auch nicht einfach. Mit meinem Kollegen standen wir die ganze Zeit im selben Raum wobei sich die Gegenpartei immer gewächselt hat.<br><br>
Nach so einem langem Tag fragt man sich ob es Sinn macht was man täglich macht, ob es zielführend ist. Wenn ich jetzt vom Ziel spreche muss ich mich fragen: Was ist mein Ziel? Was möchte ich erreichen?<br><br>
Mir ist schon bewusst was ich mit den Rest meines Lebens machen möchte. Die Frage die ich mir stellen muss ist: Mache ich das richtige damit ich meine Ziele erreiche? Das kann ich nicht beantworten,<br><br>
Habt ihr Ziele? Könnt ihr diese erreichen oder besser gesagt strebt die zu erreichen?

@alexvan there are surprisingly many people that do not have goals and have no idea of what they want or where they headed! In my opinion we need to follow our passion in life whatever that may be...... if we are truly happy and passionate about something, everything else falls into place along the way.

Natürlich, Alex! Ohne Ziel ist der Mensch ein umherirrendes Lichtlein, das nirgendswo ankommt. Hast du schon mal einen Piloten eines Flugzeuges erlebt, der in die Pilotenkanzel gestiegen ist und einfach drauf losgeflogen ist. Er kommt nirgendswo an und spätestens, wenn der Sprit ausgeht, stürzt er ab.

Tja, so ähnlich stell ich mir das bei Menschen vor, die kein Ziel haben.
