Hi,

these days, there are ongoing debates on how we procure our food. There is the ethical dilemma and the environmental one. 

My grandfather was a veterinarian, and we have grown animals for decades. Yes, we have been eating most of them, but my grandfather always told me, make it quick, so that the animal does not suffer. Also, never go for a hunt for fun. I never did, and will not, go or hunting for fun. Not even fishing for fun. He did teach me, to eat only the animal that I can kill, and this is quite difficult for most sane persons.  Do I know how to hunt and fish, yes, I know, I've learned it as a needed survival skill, but don't do it for fun. Besides this, I know how to grow my own food, like now, we planted the first type of plants for this year.

Even if we are living in a very big city, we still can plant our own food, and do our own compost. Also, we have some chickens, where we use the eggs. We know what they eat, so we know what we eat. After looking on what we eat, I realised, that we eat mostly vegetarian, but high on protein. I will not let go of milk, cheese and eggs, for example. These are my base animal products, which have enough protein. I do a lot of gym training and without enough quality protein, there is no progress. I don't eat bread or example, or avoid pizza and pasta lately. Now, a milkshake with whey powder, an egg omelet, a loaf of cheese and some broccoli with spinach is a perfect start to the day.

We, as humans, need to start changing our consumer behaviour. We inject antibiotics into animals, that are mass held and the meat coming from this pour souls, is inflaming our gut and joints. If you eat beef, try to eat clean beef, from animals that did not suffer. There are healthy alternatives, like the ones mentioned above, or some mushrooms, that have also a high protein content. Don't go into soya stuff, as that is not good for you.
