for today's #RockClassics, one of the #music # tags that I love, which was brought to us by my friend @uwelang, one of the greatest #music lovers in here, I want to wish happy birthday to one of the best known, living musicians, namely *Sir James Paul McCartney*, who turns today 79.

I've chosen two *The Beatles* songs, as *The Beatles* would not exist without *Paul McCartney* and *Paul McCartney* would not be where he is without *The Beatles*.

Even as he, next to *John Lennon*, was the main reason that disbanded *The Beatles*, he remains one of the greatest musicians of all time, from growing up in Liverpool, getting discovered in Hamburg to a world known artist.

After *The Beatles*, he got into depression, and only by the help of his wife and music, he managed to get out. 1970 was one of his most productive years, bringing a lot of his hits, *Maybe I'm Amazed* being of the most famous ones.

*Macca*, as friends call him, managed to stay on track and reinvent himself in every decade, scoring also some good soundtracks like the one from *Vanilla Sky*.

We can say that he is a complete artist, not only on music, where he does vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, and many more, he does also movies, documentaries, even appearing in the Simpsons.

He is still active and producing. He brought an album last year out, like a lot of other stars, who could not be on tour. Here is one song from this album. With this album, he managed a record to hit a top two album in the past six decades.
