When I was sick a while ago I read "Siddharta" by Hermann Hesse. It's a book worth reading once in a while. I read it for the third time. I adore Hesse's language and maybe you will like it too. In a way I can find myself in this novel and I think everyone may profit by its wisdom. If you have already read it, I recommend "Gertrud", "Unterm Rad" or "Demian" instead.

Leer es algo muy bonito por qué te lo era de stres, y tú mente la llena de imaginaciones, siempre suelo leer libros de reflexiones o historias pero mi mejor libro para leer y sentirme plena y aprender se llama la biblia!!

How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie  (1937);  i think it's a must-read book for everyone, from child to old. It should be implemented as obligatory read in school. 

Why you may be thinking ? Because this books shows people (as plain as it's title) how to make friends, real friends and how to influence on people by basically , treating them well. It's a text of old-school manners. And it's tells you that the key it's not being an adulator but being honest and kind.

Nowadays society and the newer generations alienated by technology sometimes needs to  connect positively with people. With this book you will learn how to make great win-win relationships even with your worse "enemy" right now.

My favorite chapter on this books is ; "How to criticize and not being hated for it" because let's face it , we all know we know better and may want to chance someone or something but you'll find that if your not getting any results , then you are doing it wrong!

This is where the "influence" people part gets in.

My favorite quote from this book ; "the only way for someone to do something, is that they *want* to do it" ... and that's what this book is going to make you think ; "how do i make somebody wanting to do this"

I put this principles in practice every day or at least i try to do so and it has changed my life ,even my wife now notice.

Try to read it every year, you'll love it.

well, it depends what you want out of the book, and what kind of book you enjoy!

one of my favourites is *Things Fall Apart* by Chinua Achebe, and also *On The Road* by Jack Kerouac. Maybe some Alan Ginsberg if you like American Beat Lit, but i can give you list upon list of really good African authors, who write heart wrenching truths. 

*cry the Beloved Country* by Alan Patton is amazing, and so is *Mukiba* by Peter Godwin. All African :)

That's a great question .I also think that chooing book is  a very important subject because without choosing a good book a man can not have the most pleasure for his mind.

I'm reading now "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress", by Robert A. Heinlein and I fully recommend it to you! The book was written in the 50s, and was extremely visionary: moon colony revolts against Earth, with the help of a computer that developed his artificial intelligence and became conscious. By the way, the Moon is a libertarian decentralised society. Amazing for its time, isn't it?
